Yess Yoga, recently voted BEST of MN from MN Monthly, is an inclusive and accessible community that brings everyday magic and growth into our world to create peace. We foster light-hearted and authentic connections between self, each other, and the universe at large. We dare to call our yoga classes "Intuitive Yoga".
We personally invite you to participate in any of our classes or events. Our classes are diverse and unique and so are the teachers themself. You will find Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Curvy, Kundalini, Slow Flow, and so much more on our schedule. All taught in a just and community focused lens. As a newer MPLS resident, I was desperately seeking a community to be part of.

Vastu Shastra is the science of designing buildings in harmony with nature. In order for energy flow to be beneficial in your home or workplace, the 5 elements must be in balance. Vastu originated in India approximately 5000-10,000 years ago and is described in ancient texts called the Vedas, which aralso the source of knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda.
The building has three treatment rooms on the second floor. There is one room left for someone to partner with another. We are looking to partner with a counselor, massage therapist, physical/occupational therapist, and/or esthetician. If you are interested in renting a room for your business please contact us at lucia@yessyogastudio.com.

Yess Yoga is a wonderful studio to practice with. I’ve done a handful of workshops over the years and they’ve all been delightful. Yess Yoga was the first studio I did an online class with after the COVID shutdown. Lucia taught and it was incredible how well her teaching translated to the online format. The class was so moving and much needed in such a stressful time. Can’t wait to check out the new studio in person!

I walked past Yess Yoga one day after a difficult experience in a studio I had been frequenting and in general a difficult time in my life. I quickly learned that I had stumbled into a vibrant and supportive community, meeting a lot of cool people. I also realized I had been practicing yoga for 5 years within certain boundaries that were not benefiting me in the ways it once had. I dove into the asana practice of Yin, which helped so much with physical tension, stress and mental awareness. Going through the 200 hr yoga teacher training highlights so many techniques and tools, which could lead you

I recently moved to Minneapolis and I have been looking for an inviting yoga studio whose main focus isn't getting sweaty and burning calories. I'm so happy I came across Yess Yoga! I have only taken classes online so far, but the instructors have still made me feel welcome and like I am a part of the in-studio class. I look forward to practicing in the space soon!

I can’t say enough good things about Yess Yoga. It is a warm + welcoming community with a big heart that provides inclusive and trauma informed classes 🧡 They have a beautiful new building with lovely art and lots of natural light to boot.
When I attend Yess Yoga, I know I am a part of a community and business that cares and is changing the world in profound + meaningful ways (one person and class at a time).!!

What can I say? this studio is absolutely amazing! From the musical playlist that serenaded my soul to the relaxing rosemary eye pillow the Yess yoga experience left my in a state of blissful relaxation. My only regret is that there is no time machine to go back to experience the yin yoga class all over again.

I want to start this review by saying that Yess Yoga has allowed me to experience the best yoga classes I've ever taken. As a whole, teachers at Yess Yoga are thoughtful in the way they teach their classes, they challenge students to reach new levels with our minds and bodies, and they foster an environment of love for self, others, and the world. Lucia's vinyasa classes, Victoria's vinyasa and ashtanga classes, and Marnie's restorative yoga are the highlights of my week every week. Their workshops are also amazing, namely Jessa's Moon Medicine class.

This is my home away from home! I love all of the teachers! Lucia, Elizabeth, Sarah, Brianna, and Victoria, just to name a few, have such different and interesting styles! I always come away from yoga feeling relaxed and happy. Everyone is so welcoming and I truly feel like I'm a part of a community when I'm there. I highly recommend this studio to anyone in the area. I LOVE this studio!

Yess Yoga is my new home away from home! I walked into this studio and instantly felt welcome and at home. The teachers are all wonderful and make a point of getting to know you and making you feel welcome and noticed. And all the students are friendly and welcoming as well; it's such a great little community!
They offer primarily Vinyasa classes (my favorite!), as well as a few others including Yin, Restorative, Hatha, and occasional workshops as well, which I have unfortunately not been able to attend. There's definitely something for everyone here.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Yess Yoga- I've practiced here for over a year since moving to Minneapolis, and not only has my practice deepened, but also my connections in the Whittier community. Weekly classes are offered at a variety of times, and workshops on select weekends give opportunities to focus on pranayama, inversions, building a home practice, etc. All the instructors are warm, genuine, down-to-earth, and truly take the time to get to know the students in class.

I have been to as many yoga locations as are available in Minneapolis so I have a good idea about what the quality is. Just to be clear I'm not disparaging any of those excellent havens of oneness :) I'm just here to talk about my experience of mindful bliss at Yess Yoga. Lucia is a fantastic instructor, there is humor and light during the class. I've had such good experiences every time I've been there. If you're looking for a place to practice mindfulness without too many frills or fuss this is the location for you!

I adore Yess Yoga. It is cozy, with great windows that let in the sun and is in a wonderful, convenient location. Located right next to eat street, you have plenty of options for a quick bite or sip after yoga. The studio itself has wonderful energy and many beautiful plants all around that add to the peaceful energy. The classes are great and Lucia, the owner, is so sweet and welcoming. It is a fabulous place to practice for all levels of students because the instructors provide modifications and options for all, with no stress or pressure.

Lucia Yess is an warm, intuitive and encouraging leader. She tailors each practice to those present, teaching easier and more challenging modifications throughout each class. I have been able to have fun, learn new poses and expand my practice exponentially since I started attending classes at Yess Yoga.
Additionally, the studio is very community-oriented. Yess Yoga is always finding ways to improve itself and support and improve its surrounding community. The studio environment is clean, simple and inviting, and it facilitates socializing and forming relationships before and after class.

Yess Yoga has a nice, no-frills, one-room studio with a bamboo floor and a gorgeous tin ceiling I found useful for finding a drishti. There is no mirror in this studio, which I initially thought I would dislike. I found the lack of mirror, a bit calming, however, as it allowed me to concentrate on how I was feeling in each each pose versus how it looked. The studio was pretty packed, but not crowded, on a Friday evening with male and female 20-30 somethings probably unwinding from a week at work.
The class I attended was taught by Lucia, who teaches on Monday, Tuesday Friday, and Saturdays

After neglecting myself and yoga I finally checked out Yess today. Perusin their website I saw $10 for 10 days...wait....whattt?
Less commitment/$ than your traditional $30/30. Sold.
Lucia owns and runs the studio and she is very welcoming and kind. All classes are vinyasa and great for all levels. She's encouraging and helpful - making suggestions and adjustments as necessary. The class is chill and the occasional music from Lil' T's just adds to your flow.
It's conveniently located in Whittier and with 3 classes on most days there's a time slot for everyone.
