Services
Sunpointe, A well-kept neighborhood which is much like a park. Not too far from Mill Plain, but far enough so you don't have to encounter the boulevard traffic. From the farthest tip, it's a 5 minute walk to Barlow brewery. It gets rather quiet with only minimal car noise in the background after 8pm.

First of all, let me start with saying that the manager Julie, is kind, and responded fairly quickly.
1. Recently theirs been a huge uptick in crime in the past few months. This is not a gated community. Random people drive if from all of the place, sit in cars and shoot up. Also those same people fill up the trash before the community can.
2. I’ve personally asked for camera or a gate to be put up for some kind of safety. Our rear window was recently smashed in. Amazon packages stolen.
If you want to live in a community with constant fear of being violated. This one is the one for you. Otherwise

Horrible place to live. I was a contractor that worked here and I do not reccomend this place. Nasty old units with mold build up everywhere. The blonde manager lady is crazy, doesn't know what she's doing. She just sits there and doesn't do anything but constantly lie through her teeth. Always being cheap and not fixing anything but just trying to cover everything up instead of addressing the issue. Avoid this place and save yourself a headache.

This has been the most loving & caring place we have ever lived at! The office staff & maintenance staff go above & beyond for their resident's. This place has been the best thing that has ever happened for our family. We love calling Sunpointe Apartments our forever home :) If you want a friendly community where neighbors help neighbors, & where you can have all your needs met, then Sunpointe is the place for your family as well!

Not only is management refusing to help its people affected by COVID-19, but they sent us all letters reminding us rent is due on the 1st and not to pay late. Do yourself a favor, find an apartment complex that cares about you. They don't care about anything other than money here. Do not recommend. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU.
Edit: I don't care that you aren't helping us. I find it BEYOND disgusting that you felt the need to "remind" everyone that the rent is needed. We clearly know that. To send out letters rubbing it in our faces is despicable. I cannot WAIT for my lease

I currently live at Sunpointe and have so many good things to say. There are a few cons as with any apartment but they’re no big deal.
I have had the roughest year of my life and Julie and the rest of the staff at Sunpointe have done everything they can to help me. I have never lived in an apartment complex that has managers that actually have compassion and are willing to work with you. That being said, I’ve listed the pros/cons below.
Pros:
Indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna so it’s open all year!!
Weight room
Car washing station
Trash compactor
On site laundry facility AND

I have lived here since 2015. I lived in a one bedroom to start and after a year, moved into a 2 bedroom. The staff, especially Julie, have been super accomadating since my first experience. There are other reviews about staff not being friendly on here but that is far from the truth. They are always willing to assist and happy to do so. I have had some routine maintenance issues since living here. They have an easily accessible online portal that you can enter your issues( mine was a door issue) and I got a call within 20 minutes of entering it for them to schedule that same day to fix it. My boyfriend and I moved in 9 months ago and from the first time I toured I knew this is where I wanted to live. Super clean and well kept. Everytime we needed maintenance they were on top of it and very professional. I really apperciate the employees that work here they are more like family rather than landlords. Anyone that decides to move here is smart. Great prices, indoor pool and hot tub and excellent management. Thank you Sunpointe!

My wife and I lived here for over 4 years. The apartment itself was extremely outdated. The window seals constantly build up mold which we have to clean constantly. It is a very dark apartment with very little natural lighting. The maintanence crew is wonderful I will say! They are so good that they can even maintain the extremely old appliances they use for the apartments. There is only one garbage station so if you live in a building far away it will be a hassle to walk your garbage there. Despite the minimal positives of the apartment itself Sun Pointe has no problem increases your rate to match

I lived here in 2013 and then moved to California. When I moved back to Vancouver in 2015 I called the Vancouver office and they remembered who I was and instantly set me up with a brand new apartment. The office staff are EXTREMELY kind and helpful, it is as if you are part of their family, in a very professional way. When there are any maintenance problems, which are few and far between, they are fixed within a couple days (depending on whether it is a weekend of not) otherwise the next day. The public facilities, i.e. pool, hot tub, sauna, weight room, etc. are kept clean and updated beautifully

Rented from here for over 2 years, and ended up adopting an adult Shiba Inu the last 7 months of living here. Never had any issues with the dog as he was fully potty trained (4 yrs old), well after we move out the management charged us based on depreciation to replace the carpet and seal floor. The carpet was 5 years old when we moved out, and worn because its apartment grade carpet. I disputed the charge saying the spots they took pictures of looked like they had been there for years. I was told that all the prior tenants did not have pets, that they were aware of. Also, the dog was not a home

Don't even!!! They are very nice and polite when you are trying to rent an apartment here. The day you move out they will charge you for damages you did not even know they exist! We cleaned our apartment thoroughly the day we moved out expecting a full refund. A week after I received an statement from them with 0.00 balance. Surprisingly, our final charges matched the total of our refund. When I contacted them they said everything goes through their corporate and they have no control on it.
