Glen Board is an InterNACHI certified home inspector, with over 30 years of construction experience, and 20 years as a licensed builder in the state of Michigan. He has been providing professional inspections services since 2002. Formally trained as a construction project manager - Lawrence Technical University.
I will search for the house online through Zillow or another real estate site to assess the property and provide you a firm estimate. Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won't meet me until your inspection appointment - after you've hired me.

Glen went above and beyond completing my home inspection. Glen was responsive to the request and was accommodating when scheduling. He had a quick turn around on his inspection report and was very detail oriented. As a first time buyer, the items pointed out during the inspection were overwhelming but he made me feel at ease with how to fix them. Highly recommend and plan to use him on future inspections!

As a first-time homebuyer, I really appreciated the time Glen took to explain what he saw in and around the house, where problems were and how to fix them, as well as where problems could potentially show up and how to avoid them. He was quick and accommodating in scheduling, and provided us with a thorough report. After his inspection, I felt confident about what I would have to address with the house and that it would be a good decision to move forward with the investment.

Glen did an amazing job on the inspection of what will be our first home. He responded very quickly when I asked about availability and was flexible with both times and dates that he could complete the job.
His inspection was almost exactly as long as he had estimated it would be and walked us through every detail step by step. He provided immediate and long term solutions to problems large and small, even going as far as to provide multiple choices for how issues could be fixed and what we could expect to pay.
We would not have chosen anyone else to do our inspection and will 100% be using Board

Let me start by saying my experience with Glen was so hlepful and beyond my expectations that I've already recommended him to people I know. He is affordable, very detailed and super generous with his knowledge answering all my questions along the way. His initial email explained what to expect during the entire appointment which was very comforting to me. I found the entire experience from the inspection to the report with advice & photos to be beyond thorough and tremendously helpful!

Thankfully for me, Glen called out everything that could be improved in the house and most importantly, how to fix it. Glen was very thorough and detailed during his inspection which made me feel much more confident that the home I'm buying is a good one.

Great experience! I highly recommend Board by Board LLC. Glen is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He prepared us every step of the way so we had full awareness of his process and what to expect. Our experience with Glen was overwhelmingly positive from beginning to end. We originally scheduled another inspector who cancelled on us one hour before the appointment. After searching for another inspector I called Glen and he was able to fit us in that same day. He was very professional throughout our interaction. His inspection was thorough and fair. During the walk through he offered several tips for DIY improvements, as well as a wealth of other useful information. He even had a drone to take aerial photos of the roof. He was able to get his final report to us quickly, less than 24 hours

Glen paid attention to all of the details of the home inspection process. He was very professional and used his years of experience to show us, as new home buyers, what to look for when buying our home. We reviewed all of the things that could be unexpected costs as well as possible life safety issues that needed to be addressed before we made our purchase. My girlfriend and I are buying our first home, and we didn’t really know where to start. Glen was amazingly thorough and provided great information and a detailed report that is really going to help us plan our projects. I hired Glen Board for a home inspection and really didn't know what to expect. I am in the process of purchasing my first home, and have never hired an inspector before.
