We have the perfect serving for every appetite! For those who are very hungry we have our famous family style meals. We also offer a smaller plated version of each family style entree. In addition to those choices we offer appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. We have a full bar located on the east side of our restaurant with local Millstream Brewery beers on tap and German, domestic, and craft bottled beers.
Amana fruit wine from Ackerman Winery, along with traditional grape varieties. Liquor and mixed drinks are also available. We also have a private room for rental and dining called the "Beer Garden" (pictured) located on the second floor of the restaurant. Please give us a call if you are interested in reserving it.

If you visit Amana, this restaurant is a must go. I typically get the Jäger Schnitzel (pork) or Sauerbraten (beef) complete with the family-style sides of coleslaw, cottage cheese, pickled beets, fresh green beans, fried potatoes, and fresh bread. Other options include fish, chicken, homemade soup, and fresh made pies.

Dining at either the Ronneburg Restaurant or the Ox Yoke Inn should be on your “Must Do” list for enhancing your visit whenever touring through the Amana Colonies; my wife and I dined at both during our two-day stay. We ate the Jäger schnitzel (pork loin cutlet) “family style” where the sides (e.g., coleslaw, green beans, fried potatoes, and sauerkraut) come in bowls shared by those dining with you. Dining “family Style” allows you to have free side-item refills with the exception of spätzle (a type of small noodle or dumpling). Our meal came with such a small portion of the dough

Very courteous staff, the food was superb!
My wife had the bavarian chicken, my son had the sauerbraten and I had the weiner schnitzel. The fried potatoes are fantastic,as well as the pickled beets. The strawberry rhubarb pie was just like my moms.
This really is the place to dine when visiting Amana.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the great German food served here in Amana on our summer RV road trip through the area. Ordered several items, including the Rouladen, Hahnchen Schnitzel, pork sausages, pork chop, reuben sandwich, coleslaw, and pickled beets. They were all delicious and we devoured them completely. I personally ordered the Dunkel beer as I recalled enjoying it at Epcot in Disney World a couple years ago and it really hit the spot yet again.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at this restaurant. We were really excited to eat German food as my mom is German. They even had rouladen which is a family favorite. Things started fine. They cleaned off a table and seated us. The waitress Tammy came and took our order, 2 rouladen dinners. My husband also ordered a beer. She brought out bread and butter which tasted good and home made. Then she brought out coleslaw which was fine. My husband then reminded her that he hadn't received his beer. She said she would go get it. About 15 minutes later she brought out our meals. My husband
