The best date night dinner since covid began. As soon as you walk in you are met with an atmosphere that is both welcoming and comfortable. It lends itself to an pleasant dining experience. Our server Stephanie was spot on and timely meeting our needs without being intrusive. The menu has numerous selections and are clearly identified for dietary needs. Are meals were presented well and very flavorful. My wife and I thought it was one of our best date nights in a long time.

Best Restaurant in CR. This is my go-to place for celebrating & treating myself. Everything on the menu is delicious, but I recommend the ravioli. It melts in your mouth & will likely be sold out depending on how packed the place is (get there early). They have a wonderful drink menu and I thoroughly enjoy the espresso martini. I tell all my family and friends about this place. YOU NEED TO TRY IT.

Our 1st time dining at Bari, it didn't disappoint. Our server, Michelle was awesome, she gave great service and suggestions. We started with the calamari, it was perfectly breaded, the surf and turf was great, steaks prepared to perfection. We topped it off with the creme Brule work area salt and Carmel. Needles to say, we will be back. Love everything about this place!

Appetizers: Zeppole is a favorite, think "fried garlic bread balls" dipped in sauce. They are delicious. Definitely steer away from the "warm focaccia". It's certainly not traditional focaccia, nor is it warm. It most closely resembles 4 thin slices of Italian loaf from Hy-Vee. No flavor, extremely disappointing, see picture and save your money for the free bread bowl at Biaggis.
Entrees were solid: Seafood Linguine and Campanelle pasta with chicken.

I've been to Bari Italian twice so far. The first time was with my boyfriend for a fancy date and the second time was a double date with my boyfriend and I, and our two friends. Both times I've visited Bari Italian, I have been very satisfied with the taste of my food and with their fancy indoor décor and patio seating. From their appetizers, to their entrees, and to their desserts, all the food I have tried there, I have thought was delicious. The only thing that is slightly disappointing is what you get for the cost. The portions they give you are very small and yet super expensive

Tiramisu was soggy, it tasted like it was frozen and just thawed before we got there, the taste was also off. The Calamari was horrible, the sauce that came with it tasted like tomato paste from a can. The Bucatini was no longer available, it was substituted with linguine, but the sauce was good. Also service was terrible. Probably won't go back.

I enjoyed it. Calamari was as it should be- lightly breaded and fried to golden brown perfection. My pasta cooked Al dente, the dish well seasoned and contained ample amounts of fresh seafood- or at least the mussels and clams seemed fresh. I will definitely come back because there are more items on that menu I can't wait to try

Wow incredible food and service. Fancy atmosphere. Thursday was 50% off bottle of wine and Earthquake didn't disappoint. All the food came out and it was amazing. We also had some mixed drinks and the martinis were made perfectly. Not too much olive juice. Server James was very tentative and had a little humor too. The best dessert ever was that blueberry lemon cheese cake. If you want to take your special someone somewhere this is the place. Excellent all around totally worth it.

We stayed one night in Cedar Rapids for the Ragbrai and found this restaurant. Very nice interior and a large outdoor deck for seating. We started with a beet salad which was excellent. I had a Bolognese pasta and my wife had the special which was a hanger steak. The bolognese had a three meat Ragu sauce which was very very good. A large portion which I finished. I blame the long bike ride. The Hanger steak was good, just a bit chewy, but it's very hard to cook hanger steak. The flavors were very good and say dishes were as well.

This was the best Italian restaurant I have eaten outside of Las Vegas. The menu is designed around fresh food made and served in the same day.
Every dish was amazing. We took our server's suggestion and ordered the ravioli. It was perfect. Every single dish is one that we would order again. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Our first time back to Bari since the pandemic. Still excellent. Accessible wines that won't absorb your stimulus check. Four of us enjoyed a variety of entrees. My choice was Seafood Bake: lobster, shrimp and scallops in a rich white sauce with homemade pasta and gratineed on top with buttered bread crumbs. StArter was thick asparagus spears wrapped in prosciutto on two wedges of polenta. Topped it all with tira misu and creme brûlée!!! Dinner four four with wine more than $200 but worth it after such a long drought

Been there a few times. Food has really been the best in CR recently. Had the lentil soup and Campanella pasta. The soup was great. I can't remember the last time I've had a better soup. The pasta dish used to be made with rigatoni. The new pasta is lighter and the creamy tomato sauce sticks to the noodles. It looks like it needs more sauce, but it's actually a perfect pairing of sauce and noodles without being too saucy or soupy. She had the surf and turf. My husband and I had carryout from Bari Italian this evening and as an overall observation the food was great - especially the crab cakes and the meatball appetizers. The only reason for not giving Bari a 5-star rating is the carryout experience. When we got to the restaurant we were supposed to park in front, call in, and someone would bring the order out. There was no place to park in front, the phone was perpetually busy, and after 10 minutes of trying to figure out what to do, we double parked in front and I went in to get our order. This was our first restaurant experience since COVID and not only was the restaurant safe but the food was excellent! My sister, husband and I all had great meals. The head chef even delivered the food to us! Really lovely touch. The waitress was attentive and the manager came around to ask how our meal was as well. We will return again!

The chef bring the food to your table ( I felt like royalty) the quality of the food is top notch very authentic Italian! The wait staff asks if we need anything or if there was anything they could do! Obviously this place will be a huge hit in Cedar Rapids and will be my favorite place to dine! Great job guys!!!!!!

Delicious authentic Italian affair. Even my discerning husband enjoyed the food here very much. After living in Italy for 6 years, he's hard to impress when it comes to Italian food. The calamari looked to be breaded in house with homemade red sauce accompanied by goat cheese and arugula- it was fabulous. We had shrimp scampi and chicken Milanese and our son had the bolognese and we all liked our dishes. Looking forward to coming back! My dirty martini was great too!

I came here exactly a week after it opened and had a great dining experience. This is a hidden gem. Beautiful ambiance, great service and amazing food. Probably one of the nicest Italian restaurants I've dined at. Had the Penne Diavola and the Short Rib. The presentation on the Diavola could've been neater but not a huge deal. The short rib was the star of the night and one of the best I've ever had. Short rib is my absolute favorite beef meal of all time and I almost always order it when I see it on a menu. Was very surprised to see that it was ON THE BONE once delivered and it
