Chef Jai and his crew did a fabulous job at our party ! The food was delicious !! He was fun, entertaining. The live chaat and tandoor stations were a big hit!
My guests were very happy with the food and service and we strongly recommend him and his team.

Trying to work with Nicolana was the worst caterer experience I've ever had. I tried to work with her to cater my wedding, and was excited by how full-service she seemed to be. She started out super responsive, and then got harder and harder to get in touch with as my wedding drew nearer. She kept making all kinds of excuses for her poor performance, and kept telling me about how hard she was trying to make things work for me. Eventually we finally got her to come see the space and do a tasting. About 10 minutes before she was supposed to arrive for the tasting, she sent me a text saying she

A terrible experience dealing with the chef and the staff. Very friendly upfront. We got into contract negotiations and terms were accepted. I followed up for 3 weeks including talking to the chef - the response was yes we will send you the updated contract tomorrow but no response. Finally, I decided to engage another vendor who turned out to be great ! Delayed my process by 3-4 weeks. I would be really concerned about this team showing up or performing to their commitments.

IDK catered for a graduation party at our house. One of the best experiences we had. We had Pomegranate Blinis, Fusion Taco bar, and Churros + Ice cream. Very well done. We had a mixed group with not many people being familiar with Indian food and this perfectly fit the bill. Chef Jai was on-site as well with a couple of staff. Very professional and courteous.

We ordered from IDK Eatz for our son's first birthday. Since the theme was Mexican fiesta, it was only fitting that we order fusion tacos from IDK. Chef Jai knows what he is doing, the fusion tacos were on point. His Cholae were probably the best I had in my life! The whole combination of tortilla with cholae and butter chicken/ paneer went really well and was delicious. Our guests were so happy with the food. The service was prompt and communication with Nicolana was easy. We are sure going to cater food from IDK Eatz again.

We used IDK Eatz to cater food for a birthday party and were very happy with the spread. Firstly, what drew me to them was their presentation and menu that is out of the box. Having eaten so much indian food in the bay area we loved the creative menu options from IDK. Jai is great and gave us suggestions based on menu and number of people. The staff that worked were kind and lovely to work with. Reservations, and their co-ordinating staff was on point with communication. We went home as very happy hosts, and will highly recommend IDK!

We got dinner catered from IDK Eatz for a holiday party (pre-COVID-19). Best experience ever! Right from being very proactive, very clear, and flexible about the menu, to excellent communication before and after the party; excellent logistical support (prompt arrival, setup, and no-rush on picking up after-). I saved the best for last - the food! Outstanding fusion of different cultures; just what we expected and wanted. Extremely tasty!

We were looking for relaxed sit-down, restaurant kind of an evening without the stress of babysitter/tantrum throwing children etc etc for one of our friend's special day. This was my first attempt at personal chef and I was little apprehensive about how I will guide him in our kitchen. But Chef Jai was amazing, he managed to find his way seamlessly and I didn't have to go to the kitchen after first 10 minutes. Food was pretty good too, Indian fusion but not just creamy stereotypical Indian fusion, vegetarian but not ODed on Paneer. Thank you Chef Jai for helping us in making a day special

We catered from IDK Eatz for an intimate gathering for friends in our bubble. LOVED the entire experience, from ordering to eating the yummy food! We loved his creative "fusion" twist to Indian foods.

Chef Jai was super responsive to texts and emails, made a personalized menu for us based on our requirements, and provided a lot of good suggestions. We had also ordered a tasting session from him to help us decide which food items to order, and even THAT was an awesome experience!

The food also arrived exactly on time, and the contactless payment and delivery option was great!

I couldn't recommend Jhai more. He's professional, loves food, goes above and beyond for his guests to enjoy. We ordered for a 15 person private catering and he cooked enough food for 30.

With our concerns with dining outside due to COVID, we wanted to replicate an upscale restaurant dining experience at home. We invited Chef Jai to cook dinner for the two of us for our anniversary. Chef Jai was very friendly and give us the dining experience we were looking for.

Chef Jai prepared and served us a very contemporary Indian fusion 6 course meal. He created multiple tapa style appetizers including veg dumpling, veg tulips, sag makki canapes and sliders. The main course was Indian fusion tacos with Mexican fair and finally fig cardamom yogurt as dessert. Every item served was deliciously

We had a great experience with IDK Eatz during Diwali. The whole process of scheduling, booking and delivering food was handled smoothly. The taste of food and quality of service was amazing — totally worth every penny. Would definitely order with them again!

Jai and IDK Eatz saved me when a caterer for a staff lunch for 175 people fell through 5 days beforehand. Not only was Jai super responsive and able to craft a menu around our tight budget, but when the day came around, he was early and had the food all organized really well.
The fusion taco bar was delicious and there was not one bad piece of feedback from anyone on the staff. Folks were still snacking on the leftovers two days after and saying how great it was. Would definitely book again based on how easy it was the first time around and the quality of the food!

Excellent food and service. We used their catering servIce for our baby shower. The food was here on time and was very nicely arranged. He was kind enough to match the food tags with the baby shower theme. The food was delicious and was liked by all the guests. I highly recommend it.

I got IDK Eatz to cater for my son's first birthday. The food was delicious and everybody loved it. Jay went above and beyond to get everything sorted out and custom craft the menu according to my needs. I would definitely recommend.

Jai is extremely professional and easy to work with. He was instantly able to understand and suggest items that would go well for our baby shower lunch event. Jai managed everything on his own with great ease - from food delivery to setup for the party and even collecting the dishes post event.

The food was loved by all and the spice level was just right (we had a diversified group). We'll definitely be hiring IDK eatz again for future events!

Truly amazing food. We used IDK Eatz for our house warming party and everyone was raving about the food. Jai was very attentive and took the time to understand our needs, guest preferences, before designing our menu. He was late to arrive for set-up, so I would address that if using him again, but the food was truly memorable.

We used Jai and IDK Eatz for the Personal Chef component, and not the catering- and my review holds only for that portion of the business.

I have to commend the ease of communication and setup of our event; Jai was very pleasant and easy to work with in preparation for our event, and the time leading up to it.

However, on the day of- the experience lacked in comparison to other personal chef experiences we've had.

Jai was late in getting to our event, requiring help to get things out of the car and set up, at the same time we were trying to greet and introduce our guests to each other

We used Jai's catering for our housewarming party. The food was superb! Everything was fresh with outstanding and complex flavors, cooked and prepared perfectly. Each dish complimented the others with unique tastes - creating a truly memorable event for us and for our guests! Of the 45 or so guests, nearly everyone complimented us on the delicious food, went back for seconds or thirds, and wanted to know who made it for us.

During the planning process Jai was very responsive in his communications as well passionate and detailed about the menu and in meeting my needs.

We had a little issue

We found IDK Eatz recently when looking for a caterer for a party the night before our wedding. Jai has been very good at communicating via phone/email, answering all of our questions and even giving us a sampling tasting of his taco bar menu. We enjoyed the tacos, both veg and non-veg (my favorite was the paneer bhurji). His salsas have a great kick (if requested), which many guests will love. Overall, we love that he can customize the menu based on our preferences and guest requirements, all while being reasonably priced.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Jai and IDK Eatz for our company holiday party. The service from start to finish was great. We had several dietary restrictions including a vegan guest and children, and Jai was able to tailor the menu to everyone. He was responsive to emails, calls and texts and so helpful with questions.

We had Szechuan Vegetables, Chicken Manchurian, Vegetarian Hakka Noodles and Curry Fried Rice. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Jai was fantastic to work with and delivered the food on time so everything was hot and fresh for our guests. Thanks Jai and IDK
