Services
Little Warriors (4-6 years) and Junior Warriors (7-12 years) train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and/or Muay Thai. The kids martial arts classes at Valhalla Academy uses Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Thai Boxing to teach children discipline and respect. Our classes are designed to help our students quickly gain confidence.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling competitions are grappling tournaments that are fun, exciting, and are a safe way for your kids to be active, fit, and demonstrate the skills they have learned. Valhalla has a program designed specifically for kids that want to compete. The competition program is a challenging program that puts kids on the fast track to learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling.

I have been doing bjj here since 2017 and I enjoy every moment of it. For bjj, a phenomenal atmosphere is important to learn and grow from. To me, Andrew has created that environment because his knowledge and techniques are tremendous in how he teaches. In addition, the people I train with are insanely awesome individuals. I look forward to every training session, but I genuinely look forward to see how everyone is doing!

What an absolutely FANTASTIC, fantastic school! First, Valhalla is as CLEAN as can be. During this time period when a germ-free environment is essential, cleanliness is treated with utmost importance. Not only are the mats mopped and sanitized immediately following every class, so is the house equipment after every DRILL. Secondly, combat (including Muay Thai, Thai Kickboxing, Savate, Jeet Kune Do, Jiu-Jitsu and Singlestick) is taught in a way that is simple and easy to understand at all skill levels. Methods are explained and demonstrated with precision and all questions are answered clearly.

My daughter has been going here for 6 months and we have noticed steady improvements which I believe is a result of Andrews ability to communicate with the younger kids and maintain a program that is consistent.
Also a family run business where you can count on both the gym and restrooms to be maintained and clean which I think is important.

Valhalla is a fantastic multi-discipline martial arts studio. Whether teaching children or adults, Andrew demonstrates his extensive experience with patience and encouragement. He helped my kids overcome their nervousness of inexperience, to gain confidence to “roll” with other kids who have been at it for a lot longer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-rounded studio.

Valhalla is a family owned and operated place that truly cares for the kids that practice and learn martial arts here. Andrew started coaching my daughter about two years ago. She was brand new to martial arts but instantly fell in love with it. He not only encouraged her to learn and challenge herself daily, he also traveled over an hour to coach her through her first competition where she took gold!! He continues to support her to be her best every time she shows up. I highly recommend this place!!

Andrew is knowledgeable and personable in his style of training. He ensures you understand the mechanics of each sequence and he coaches you on proper form and technique. The facility is well-maintained, clean and they make you feel welcome. I enjoy how every session is different, you never get bored. Great stress outlet and workout--highly recommend!

My 5 y/o son absolutely loves training here. Not only has it helped him come out of his shell more but it helps him get his energy out. From sparing with his peers and fun games at the end of class he’s learned so many techniques and maneuvers that help in self defense for years to come. The staff is so personable and friendly, they truly make you feel welcome the second you and your family walk through the door.

No matter which art form Andrew is teaching, he is always showing perfect form to execute the technique. He is patient with all of his students no matter the skill level. He genuinely wants everyone to succeed. The people that attend the classes are respectful and make the classes enjoyable. Valhalla has been a life changing experience for the better. I would definitely recommend Valhalla to any parent looking for a martial arts class for your child. My daughter started when she was 4 and now she is 8 and still loves coming to Valhalla in the afternoons. Andrew is incredibly patient with the children and finds the perfect balance between teaching and playing. Valhalla is very clean and everyone treats you like family. It's a wonderful atmosphere for children to learn and grow.
