Services
Pinnacle Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Katie is our Head RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician). As our Head Tech, she works to ensure your pet benefits from the most current skills and knowledge available to provide him/her the best experience possible. She was born and raised in Asheville. She has one dog, June Carter, a beagle mix. Her heart belongs to animal rescue and has a special place for Pit bulls.

Pinnacle Animal Hospital gave my snake such great care! They went above and beyond to house him overnight and give him the delicate surgery he needed and correct antibiotics. He showed signs of healing within 2… weeks post operation and is 100% himself now. I appreciate everyone who helped care for Dukino! He's living his best life. ❤️🐍

I’ve been taking my older dog to Pinnacle since I adopted her 5+ years ago. All of the staff we’ve interacted with since have been so kind and knowledgeable. She has had chronic and acute health issues since her adoption and Dr. Tim has always provided excellent care. Trustworthy, compassionate, friendly folks- I highly recommend them!

I have and will continue to bring all of my animals here! A couple months ago my senior dog, Chevy, got hit by a car. Not only did Dr. McMullan stop everything he was doing for this extreme emergency. He went absolutely above and beyond to make sure that he was okay and even called to check on him every day after. My other pup Shelby has had to have now 2 separate eye surgeries and it has completely changed her life. Shes now comfortable and happy again! Other than my pups, I run a small reptile rescue and he is hands down the most knowledgeable vet around! When I had to have one of my rescues

The best experience I have personally had with any vet. My pup is a little over protective of me and very loud, and they were so kind and professional the whole time. They made her feel safe and comfortable and quickly figured out what was wrong with her. She is already getting better. 10/10 recommend for your fur babes.

I called them frantic this morning about our 14 year old chinchilla and they were all so very helpful and kind. The intake staff were all so wonderful and compassionate with our little guy! Dr. McMullan (who… sees exotics) evaluated our sweet boy and was so truly wonderful to work with. He provided encouragement, as well as detailed and realistic differential diagnoses for Otto and we developed a plan of care together with excellent communication and planning. After moving from out of state I wanted to find a good vet in the area. I haven’t tried any others besides Pinnacle Animal Hospital because of the especially kind staff and thorough work they do. Whether it’s been a routine visit, immunization, or dental surgery, they’ve always taken great care of our cats and can be trusted with yours. They are up front about costs and available treatment options and have never surprised us with any bills or hidden fees. Dr. Bragg is always happy to answer any questions we have had and Sam is a wonderful receptionist. Every other team member I’ve spoken

We’ve been very pleased with Pinnacle. We’re so thankful they’re there for us when we need them! My Ginger has been seen several times for different concerns and we always are seen quickly and get detailed… information. All the doctors are great but we are partial to Dr. Bragg after seeing her multiple times over the last few months and for her compassion for my baby girl. Thanks Pinnacle!

My husband took our bearded dragon, Lizzie, to see Dr. Tim for an evaluation since we are new dragon owners. We were given an appointment right away. The staff was so courteous and professional and my husband was very pleased with Dr. Tim's encouragement, expertise, and suggestions regarding Lizzie's care and well being. My husband was given… some literature with helpful information regarding bearded dragons, but best of all--it sounds as though Lizzie felt secure with Dr. Tim! One of the best reptile vets I know and recommend. The staff is excellent, caring, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this vet for any reptiles.
