America is a country that prides itself on conserving and championing human rights. Our founding documents espoused ideas of equality and the liberty to worship, associate, and speak freely. It's why our amendments and freedoms are so highly protected. This is why the United States is known for accepting asylum seekers.
There is a way to apply for a resident visa from outside of the United States. This process is called consular processing and can be done through a U.S. consulate or embassy overseas. This process is one of the two ways people can apply for family-based immigration. To be eligible for consular processing, a family member that is a U.S. citizen must petition on your behalf.
Living with uncertain immigration status can create a lot of anxiety. In 2014, President Obama issued an executive order directly affecting the lives of the millions of undocumented immigrants living in the United States. It offers a legal reprieve for undocumented parents of U.S. citizens and permanent residents, as long as they can prove they have lived in the U.S. for at least five years.

My husband had to go back to mexico and we were under alot of stress trying to bring him back home. I came across to finding out about cynthia in el paso and I can tell you she has "Integrity!" Something alot of lawyers don't carry. She wears her heart on her sleeve. Now with her help and her firm (Alexa) shout out to her also Thanks! to her for helping work on our case too. We were able to bring my husband back home to the United states!! :) I feel she goes through the stress with you and she really wants to just help families out. She definitely helped my family out. Words cant describe how appreciative

I came in with an open mind and reassurance from the stellar reviews below, but my was Cynthia R. Lopez's services a disappointment. She was late multiple times to my mother's court hearings. She is incredibly hard to get in contact with and once you do, she always seems rushed through her answers. I understand she must be a busy woman, but patience doesn't seem to be a virtue for her. The only people pleasurable enough to talk to are her paralegal team. After a failed parole request submitted by Cynthia and her claim that my only other option was to attempt to start an asylum case for my mother

My sister is FREE now thanks to Cynthia Lopez. It took only 6 months for Cynthia to help my sister move through the system in the United States and into the Canadian system legally and smoothly. My sister struggled her way through Mexico from Guatemala, and is now safely settled and living in Canada. So glad this long ordeal and journey are finally over. We are eternally greatful to Ms. Lopez and her amazing staff. She is a very good attorney and we are very thankful!

Ms. Lopez and her team have helped my family so unbelievably much. After dealing with other attorneys nearby, we could instantly tell right away that they truly cared about us as people, and not just as clients. My family had been trying to get mother's status straightened out for years, and we were almost convinced it would never happen because of nightmare experiences with other representation. From day one, Ms. Lopez and her staff communicated everything to us as we needed to hear it, explained how and what we should expect, and they made sure we stayed on top of all the very many steps

I hired Ms. Lopez last year to work on my husband's immigration. I was able to get in contact with her easily when needed and she was knowledgable on the ins and outs of immigration. She handled his case with ease and gave us sound advice when the going got tough. Appreciated her professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.
