Wouldn't recommend.
Summary: If you want a company that has poor communication (often replying to a morning email sometime around 9PM at night), the loan officers disappear without warning and without leaving an alternate contact for assistance, rates move up twice without notification to prospective customer who has filled out application, and then refuses to give you Loan Estimates (which from what I've read is actually illegal) after several requests... what a garbage company.

Beware of Ideal Home Loans. Experienced several issues regarding re-financing of my home loan completed in July 2020. ALL documents I had to print off on my own. (What if you don't own a computer?) I requested follow up through e-mail, a mailed letter and also ph calls and received ONE attempt since Sept. The final disappointment was when I had to problem solve ON MY OWN to get my home insurance covered by the new mortgage company as it was not taken care of properly through re-financing. This is not RIGHT! The advertisements and segment on Colorado and Company are misleading and concerning

If you want a super aggressive evasive sales person/loan broker this would be your place. I found my loan rep to be less honest than a used car sales person or a politician. I contacted Ideal Home loans and another mortgage lender. The quote from Ideal was higher than the other lender, so my rep admitted to making a "mistake" and came up with a new quote. With the new quote, the rate was better, but the cost for the loan (points...$2,000 for Ideal...nothing for the other lender) was higher, I pointed that out multiple times, and the rep kept saying he had beat the other person on

I, unfortunately, cannot recommend Ideal Home Loans. I was in the market for a mortgage and reached out to Ideal really to query what their rates were. Every bank or other mortgage lender I've spoken with was able to provide me with daily rates (of course you can't lock in til you have a home under contract). My officer was very evasive with rates, telling me he couldn't tell me anything without a contract or full application. My husband and I had shopped a couple of local lenders here in the Denver metro area, before choosing Ideal Home Loans. One of the lenders was quoting us 1% interest rate higher, and the other lender we began with rushed us through the first two weeks of our refinance process. Then that local lender just stopped connecting with us, we tried many attempts to send emails voicemails, However did not hear a word back. I hear their commercials everyday all day on the radio and TV and I cringe everytime. They screwed me over for five months, didn't fund, hinted that I should commit fraud,sent a totally over his head inspector, were unable to decipher simple tax forms,dumped me without telling me etc, etc, etc.
Careful who you deal with. Thousands spent on commercials with suedo celebrities doesn't mean they are good.

Working with Joel Barach was a great experience. We approached Joel in early January to prepare for our purchase with a goal of June to begin shopping.
