Aimee is a licensed Acupuncturist. She graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon in 2005. She has been practicing with The People's Acupuncture of Asheville since 2009. Aimee was born and raised in Chicago. She currently lives in West Asheville with her partner, Donnie, her dog Rudy and cat Raven.
I came to People's Acupuncture with many health issues. After a month of coming in for treatments twice a week I have seen notable improvement for the symptoms of fibromyalgia. With the affordable rates that People's Acupuncture offers I can continue to receive on-going treatments. I anticipate continued improvement and health.
We have a well stocked assortment of pre-made Chinese herbs, liniments, and supplements for sale! During your treatment we may recommend a formula or supplement that may benefit you. We do not do separate herbal consultations but offer recommendations as part of your Acupuncture treatment. If you already have an herbal formula that you take, call or stop by and we can sell you another bottle of what you need.

I have only had acupuncture there from Sam, and I can honestly say that his treatment is the only time in my entire life when my body has been able to fully relax... And I mean every muscle and fiber of my physical self relaxes so I can focus on healing my energetic self. I am grateful and will continue to go back!

Where to begin?????
I love this place, love the people. ...Amee and Sam. Love the concept.
This place is so refreshing! Amee and Sam, acupuncturist, are really good at what they do. They listen, they help and are gentle with the procedure.
In the waiting area they have water and hot tea. What a joy this is!!!!!

The People's Acupuncture of Asheville is a first-class community acupuncture studio in Asheville. Their sliding pay scale makes an otherwise inaccessible form medicine available to the average person. Places like this have the ability to revolutionize the way medicine is practiced, and in Asheville, these guys are doing it.
I have spent many months in treatment with Sam who is both a wonderful guy and a bright and intuitive healer. His knowledge and techniques rival those of traditional healers in Asia, under whom I've also been treated. I often leave Asheville to travel, but I always make sure

I like community acupuncture. At times I wish there could be needles in parts of my body they can't reach when you just sit in a cushy chair, but for the price, it is worth it! After the doc puts needles in, I sit for an hour!! How would it be efficient with an individual practitioner to do that?
Thanks for being here and all you do!

Aimee, Sam, and Annie are fabulous and attentive without being all up in your business. After going to People's Acupuncture for almost three years, I felt immensely more in touch with my health (mental & physical). I've left Asheville, but this clinic will always get credit for helping me get a handle on my health.

Seeing the flier for sliding scale acupuncture ($15-35) while using the bathroom at the Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company, I called Elizabeth up sort of interested.
Background: I've wanted to try acupuncture - for nothing particular, but general health - and have never been able because it is expensive, and my insurance doesn't cover -- probably similar to yours. Elizabeth talked to me for awhile, told me it was great that I would come in without a particular ailment, but out of curiosity, and says that she doesn't mind that I pay $15.00 forever - she says those who do tend
