Called day in advance and asked for checking time . Was told 4 pm. Got to front desk at 4 pm. Was told room was still not ready. Mind you the check out time was 11. Was told will call you when room was ready . Asked for manager . He called back and said there was something wrong with closet door but room was ready . We could go in the room and have staff work on the closet . He gave us credit for resort fees due to inconvenience . After second time at front desk and asking where the NYE party would take place , the attendant said "oh I am sorry the event was cancelled . We got the

I came here last night expecting to have a nice room. I paid for a villa 2401. The room was a upgraded Holiday Inn. Got a complimentary bottle of wine but the corkscrew was broken. Went to take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. K ran the jets only to find body waste coming out of the jets. Had to warm up chocolate with the fireplace because the rooms don't have microwaves. Called housekeeping and after 2 hours of waiting I finally called to cancel. I was going to buy a gift card for my niece to stay here. Not now!! Go to Ponte!!!!! It's sad to say when you get a survey the next day in a email

Can you say rude?! Borderline hostility when asking about flight tasting and dining in the restaurant. In fact, the hostess almost refused to put down our name for dining. She asked in a snotty tone so "ur going to wait 1 hour for dining"... um this is a winery so yes. They also do not do flights of wine.. at a winery. So you can essentially go stand in an indoor bar area and try wine.

Stayed for 2 nights for an early birthday getaway. Was placed on the first floor in the tower near check-in. Could hear all stomping and conversations from our room. The room was super dingy, had a faint cigarette smell. We didn't get our room cleaned up either which was annoying. The heater didn't work at all.
At check-in, some staff members weren't wearing masks. Some of our waiters were wearing their masks as chin straps. Throughout the property, the mask rule wasn't enforced which is immensely annoying considering the surges.

Completely disappointed by the Tree Lighting Festival at Southcoast Winery and Resort Sunday November 28 For an establishment that touts itself as a "Luxury Resort" I was completely underwhelmed by the lack of attention and detail that went into the planning of the event As if it was thrown together the night before as an afterthought From the complete lack of knowledge during check in to the lack of any kind of signage informing people where everything was located When we were actually able to find someone who worked there,nobody was really able to give us a clear answer on how things

So disappointed and unorganized. Christmas tree lighting dinner, will not be back.
First my biggest issue. Water does not come with the 50$ price of dinner? Mind you I'm not asking for bottled water, I went to the drink station and just asked for two cups of water. (The coffee station has hot cocoa HOT water and coffee, no cold water). I explained that there was no water for me or my child. I was told I would have to pay for the water as he only had bottles. 9 DOLLARS FOR TWO SMALL BOTTLES of cheap water that is 4$ a case. All I wanted was a cup of tap to drink with my dinner.

I wanted to love this place so much, but we had a lot of issues shortly after we checked in. First the positives, great location, beautiful facility, friendly staff, and out of the wine tastings we paid for, South Coast was the best. The amenities in our room were nice, the large shower and tub was great, and the bed was comfortable.

This place is a joke! Don't waste your money! Definitely not worth the $300+ a night for outdated rooms with no views! Don't let the website fool you! our "deluxe villa" is just a bush cell when you walk out on the patio!!! Also don't be fooled by their own policy online it states that they will match any price and to always book direct I had pictures of the site I found it cheaper on and should've booked with but was told we only match travelocity! Ummmmm not what your website states! Anyways my birthday weekend was ruined by this place honestly I'd rather be

My absolute favorite place to stay in Temecula!
Parking: plenty
Winery: pretty great! they have a decently sized tasting room that gets packed but there are plenty of staff members to help. it's also right next to their gift shop. I love the large variety of wines they offer at decent prices. we love grabbing a glass and either hang outside their open grass area where there's live music, or just go by the balcony and take in their nice open area for weddings
Hotel: pretty great, especially if you have a balcony overseeing the grapevines. it's on the pricey end but you get what

Winery was wonderful. Staff were very pleasant. Wine was great. Location EXCELLENT!
Unfortunately the bed in our room was the worst bed we have ever slept on in our lives. The back pain was crazy. We are in our 30's and when we woke up felt like 105. By night 3 I was dreading going to sleep (luckily we checked out the next day). The couch in our room was also really broken down. The patio was excellent. This would be a 5 star hotel and winery to visit if the room was a bit better. PLEASE upgrade the mattress....for all future guests.

We just checked out after staying 4 nights at this hotel. Overall not the 4 star stay I expected. The Villa we stayed in was nice but the glass patio door, which I paid extra for the mountain, was fogged in the double pain windows. Called housekeeping and maintenance and nothing could be done. Half my view blocked. The outside patio was smaller than pictured online on their website. The pool is delightful and staff hard working. The Vineyard Rose restaurant was really great especially sitting outside. For what we paid not having room service took away from my enjoyment. Ran out of towels

If the review was based on customer service and wine it would most likely be a 5 star rating however unfortunately the grounds were in Poor conditions which sort of ruined the experience for me. So I'll start with the good.. the wine was great we ended up buying "group therapy" and "Verdelho" the service was friendly I can't remember his name who helped us but he was great! We took our wine outside after tasting to enjoy the grounds but unfortunately wasn't a site to see. The vineyards had dead leaves all over the place and overgrown grass. You could tell there

This review is for the spa:
This is not a spa. This is a place you can get a massage. There are no steam rooms, saunas, whirl pools, robes, slippers. I changed for my massage and hopped on the table. I planned to go wine tasting after, but there were no showers and I didn't even have access to a mirror to apply make up or fix my hair. We were told upon booking that everything was available. We were sorely misled.
I give this two stars because my masseuse was fabulous. And it wasn't his fault this isn't a spa experience.
But I'm still bummed that my sparkling wine was served

Unfortunately, I had to give them 1 star and that's ONLY because the sommelier was rad! If it wasn't for him I'd give 0 stars. We booked an appointment to tour the property as a possible wedding venue. Weeks prior to the meeting, I messaged the catering manager back and forth to set something up. I made it very clear that our date was firm - there was no changing it. We drove 1 1/2 hrs from Huntington Beach to the winery, waited 45 mins for our appointment and it was all for nothing.

I've finally found a hotel more tacky and rude than the motel 8 in Detroit.
I don't know where to begin.
The check in process is the rudest I've ever experienced. The most unfriendly staff won't let you check in earlier than 4:15 and wouldn't let friends of ours check in until after 5pm.
The minute I opened the door to my room I was blasted with such a musty odor it distracted me from one of the ugliest decors in the history of interior decorating. If my great grandmother took the furniture out of her attic and had a garage sale, they would purchase it for their vineyard

We just checked in today and so far has been such an amazing experience. The front stuff is so helpful and friendly. The room is extremely clean which gave me such peace of mind since we are still in a pandemic but I felt really comfortable in our room. I will update as our stay here progress but so far I am 100% happy with our stay.

Came here for the weekend with my family to celebrate my engagement in Temecula. The stay was great! We had two rooms booked that had great views, clean rooms, and lots of space. Overall, the staff there was really helpful - especially the staff at the pool. They were so attentive and really made our stay that much better.
I removed two stars based on our experience at the restaurant. We knew it was getting late but were hoping to get dinner so we called the restaurant and they informed us they closed at 9pm and last orders would be taken at 8:45pm. We arrived around 8:35pm, knowing we were cutting
