I’ve been sitting on this review for quite a while but I think it’s important for people to know.
The employees here were great to me for a while.
I started going here for med management mostly. I was a patient for about 2 years or so but as soon as I lost my insurance coverage they dropped me as a patient. I told them I understand cash clients can be a gamble but I’d be happy to pay up front in full for any appointment I scheduled. Instead of making any kind of accommodations for me they gave me references to other offices that were not taking new clients and had long wait lists. I could

Go somewhere. ANYWHERE. else for psychiatrist care. They put me through forced withdrawal of my medication despite me calling multiple times for refills. My psychiatrist even said that the person who handles refills didn't even let her know I needed a refill or ask her about refilling my meds. They also have told me that my appointment is a random day that I did not schedule, despite getting a confirmation call that confirmed my appointment was for the the day I showed up.
I do not trust them to provide proper care. I cannot tell you how horrible it is to be mental ill and unstable and then be

I called this agency in crisis three weeks ago because their therapists are recommended by others. Our insurance has them on their list of approved providers. The front desk was responsive in trying to get the billing department squared away to use our benefits. That is where it stopped: three weeks and still no response. Do NOT call them if you need simple and straightforward help!

I've been seeing Prentiss on and off for several years, starting in highschool. He's always been good for me. I also saw Jean for ADHD treatment and she was very understanding and helpful. The receptionists also seem genuinely caring and helpful. I would recommend this clinic based on my experiences.

If you need help, don’t call them. They will tell you they will call you back, but they won’t, and when you follow up to tell them that you are disappointed, they’ll treat you like it’s nothing. They did offer to have me call the therapist personally to work it orut, but when you are told that the therapist isn’t accepting patients after you called and was told weeks prior that they’d try to work with you then they say they have no room even though you were waiting, you don’t expect to be taken seriously by that office. If you take your mental health seriously, just don’t with them
