Built in 1906 by the owner of The Wheeler lumber yard, the venue was shaped with top choice lumber. All 6,000 square feet of floors in our North Georgia Wedding Venue are heart pine tongue and groove, as well as the walls, ceilings, and two story wrap-around porches.

The Wheeler House made our wedding truly the best day ever! Our coordinator made sure everything was perfect and exactly the way we wanted it for our day. They answered any and every question we had in a very timely manner. The staff and vendors are so helpful and make sure the day runs so smooth! We stayed at the cottages on property the night before and it was SO CUTE! It was so fun to stay with all of the bridesmaids the night before and it's a memory I will never forget. A huge thanks to this venue and included vendors for making our wedding day one we will truly remember forever and ever

I can’t say enough AMAZING things about my experience working with the Wheeler House. I truly felt taken care of through out the entire wedding planning process and on wedding day! The venue is not only beautiful, it is also staffed with excellent personalities that make you feel welcome and at home. Baylee, our coordinator, did a great job day of. We had a lot of DIY things and she handled it like a champ! So thankful we got to experience our special day at a venue that cared for us like family!

Ashley and Brittany helped me from the first month of engagement to wedding day! 1 month from the wedding my dog had to be hospitalized for a week and needed surgery. I loved everything about The Wheeler House. They were quick to respond to ALL questions I had. It made it so easy that it included almost everything from catering, cake vendor, and DJ. Bailey was my coordinator and she was amazing. But everyone that I had a chance to talk to and work with was just as great so you would be lucky to have any one of them. This is a venue I would definitely recommend. They made my big day so magical.

I highly recommend The Wheeler House to anyone looking for a north Georgia wedding venue. The house itself is gorgeous and I loved getting ready and taking pictures both inside and out. The outdoor ceremony space is stunning and really doesn't need any decor. The reception barn was perfect for everything we wanted, including letting people spill outside but still feel like they were a part of the festivities. I was a little wary of not getting to pick my own vendors after learning about their package but they did a great job of picking companies that do a great job!

Wow! Our wedding at the Wheeler House was nothing short of magical! Our day of coordinator was Laiken and she was fantastic! They made it so that we didn't have to worry about a thing! We just got to sit back and enjoy the day! Beautiful grounds with so many places to take pictures. Everyone said our food was the best they've ever had at a wedding. The DJ did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor and our cake was delicious! I'm so glad we picked the Wheeler House for our wedding!

We knew the moment we toured the venue back in January of 2020, that it was going to be where we got married on 7.9.21! It's awesome how close all the spots are - ceremony, cocktail and reception spaces. No long waits or transportation for older guests. I of course fell in love with the beauty of the barn! The Wheeler House gives you everything that you could want in a wedding and then some. We fell in love with this venue from the moment we laid eyes on it, and the staff proved themselves as extremely caring and helpful every step of the way. From the planning to the execution, the Wheeler House was exceptional - they were professional and always had their stuff together, but they were also very warm and easy to work with. Let me start by saying Baylee is the absolute best wedding coordinator and we were so blessed and fortunate to have her with us on our special day. Everything was so organized and put together thanks to the amazing staff and all inclusive vendors. The all inclusive option took so much stress off of me and my husband during the planning process. All of the vendors included were top notch and better than I could’ve ever expected. The grounds are stunning and it had the perfect layout for what we envisioned for our wedding. I loved working with The Wheeler House. The venue is absolutely beautiful. They have great packages which include the DJ, Wedding Cake, Venue, and Catering. It saved me a lot of time and stress rather than having to search for all of my vendors. Additionally, they were able to suggest several other vendors we chose from to fill in the gaps for grooms cake, flowers, and even my wedding dress! Any time I had a question they were extremely responsive. They were able to make changes for my vision easily. Their expectations and contracts were easily understood from the beginning. The wheeler house is an absolute AMAZING place to get married. The entire staff is so nice and incredible! My wedding was originally scheduled for march 21,2020 but because of COVID it was rescheduled for September 4,2020. And the entire time everyone always made sure to keep me in the loop and made sure I was always happy! My coordinators were laura and ashley and they were both absolutely great! This is hands down one of the best places you could ever choose to get married!!

The Wheeler House did an amazing job for my daughters wedding. We had 200 guests and the barn accommodated us all perfectly. The venue was beautiful as the lights were twinkling in the trees. Ashley was fantastic as she kept everyone and everything on track. There were no surprises and the entire event went off without a hitch. We wold definitely choose the Wheeler house again!

Just had my wedding here on may 20th! I am over the moon happy with this place. The setup was perfectly done. Laura was by far the best part of this venue. She is amazing!! She is so organized, patient, and sweet. She was running around the whole day making sure everything was perfect. This venue was our first choice when my daughter became engaged. The wedding coordinator was gracious, knowledgeable and organized. (Unfortunately she is no longer with The Wheeler House. ) We paid the full amount and even paid the ceremony fee in advance.
Sadly, SEVEN months before the wedding date the engagement was broken and the wedding cancelled. We immediately notified the venue. While we expected to cover the administrative fees and commission,we have received no money back. The owner has never replied to my request. We continue to try to contact him and hope this can be resolved. Again

Before writing a negative review, I tried to take my concerns up with the owner of the Wheeler House, Lee Lusk and although he first responded to acknowledge my e-mail, he promised to investigate and get back to me. It's been about 2 months with no response. Thus, I will finally post my review of this venue. I would strongly suggest brides to look at other venues.

Clearly, one of the best decisions that I made regarding my daughter's wedding was to have it at the Wheeler House! The space is like no other, a painstakingly restored, circa 1901 house with walk around porches, brick walkways, and an impressive wedding pavilion.
