Midland was originally founded as the midway point between Fort Worth and El Paso on the Texas Pacific Railroad. Its location as the midway station was the reason for its original name - Midway, but due to other towns with the same name located nearby, its name was eventually changed to Midland. It was also the home of former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, as well as former First Lady Barbara Bush.

Marks all over the walls. AC not working on move in day in 108 degree heat. No help from Management. Not to mention the backyard... mud everywhere and a broken sprinkler that shoots straight up in the air. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy rent from these people and finally no fridge... or heads up you have to get your own.
Just wanted to update this post. When you think nothing will be worse then the move in.... this is what your backyard will look like. They will have minimal grass and they will let the sprinklers continue to run in places where sunlight doesnt even get close. Unless you are Shrek

Rented an apartment and in the mist of the year the property management changed and they didn’t know anything about my business overall tried to charge me 2600 in late fees supposedly stating back to February but we had paid everything up before management change and then wouldn’t show me where it said I owed that much wouldn’t even print the paper off and now I went from 2600 to 5600 which is weird tried calling no one answers and won’t pick up the phone when I call to see what is going on and why that amount is on my credit.

It's a little too early to tell how well they treat their tennants. I have only rented from them for a couple of days now. I can say that several of my maintenence requests have been cancelled by them, however, they may have already submitted requests themselves. That can cause a cancelation. As far as sneaky goes, you must ensure that you take pictures of the paperwork that you give them copies of. Every single piece, like I did. I won't be caught paying for someone else's damage. When I turned in my walk through paperwork, Tina "accidentally" made copies that had most of the wording cut off,

Do not waste your time cleaning/picking up/making small repairs yourself at move out. You will not get your security deposit back. They want to take every last penny from you and most likely did not even do what they claimed they had to “fix” and charged you for. We cleaned top to bottom and made sure the place was spotless and filled every nail hole on the wall and they still charged $850 to “fill nail holes, clean a stain in the oven, remove a hard water stain ring from the toilet and do a touch up on the wall from furniture marks”. According to Texas law, this is all considered normal

My first stay with minix property management started off kinda rocky as the complex was constantly transitioning between management but after Savanna took over she stayed and changed a lot of things for the better! very professional, friendly, responsive & she definitely takes tenants into consideration when making decisions about this complex. 10/10 would recommend and go back again

HORRIBLE property management, would give zero stars if i could! They are extremely cheap, don’t communicate anything and will TAKE YOUR MONEY! Got charged for damages and debris after moving out, that I was NOT NOTIFIED about, until the bill was sent to collections?? Ask for evidence and a complete breakdown of the bill and have been ignored! Also, I have proof it was CLEAN, probably cleaner than than when they rent them out! Very greedy, unprofessional and neglectful company. For your own sake, use a different company.

Our AC has been out for 3 weeks now and we have received no help on getting the issue resolved. Nobody ever answers the main office number and the maintenance line is only good for submitting new work orders. I have called multiple times and received 0 help. We have only lived here for 2 months and have already had a number of things break/go out like they never did an inspection after the previous tenant left. Absolutely terrible customer service all around.

I would not recommend this company. They don't answer the phone and prefer to text then it takes awhile to get a response. They had an issue with giving me access to the property even 1 day early so that I could get things moving along. Once I finally got into the house it had NOT been cleaned, dead bugs, spiders, traps and dirt everywhere. All this after being over charged on the deposit and paying hyper-inflated covid prices for rent. I was skeptical once I received the lease now I stuck with this company for a year. Not a happy customer.

Update:
On the third day a member of management finally contacted me wanting to know if the problem had been addressed. After hearing about it she arranged for a plumber within an hour, and the house is no longer flooding.
Maintenance won’t respond. We went 2 weeks in the winter without a furnace. And the apartment (as of right now) is flooding. It’s been 2 days and the water is still flowing. Luckily it’s a slow leak so it only managed to seep under a few walls. Despite using the portal and making 2 phone calls I don’t even have an eta on addressing this. Feel bad for the property owner
