Master Choi is the best ! He keeps our little one motivated. He even offers online classes now with COVID and makes it feel as if they are in person. He is very professional. Prices are good! My kiddo enjoyed his picture day recently very much ☺️ If we had a choice to go back in time we would still choose Lion Choi’s martial arts again and again!

My seven year old daughter loves attending the classes here at Lion Choi's Taekwondo! Initially when she started (nearly two years ago) she was nervous trying something new however, the instructors caring nature and family atmosphere quickly eroded any anxiety my daughter had. Now my daughter looks forward to her sessions, especially with the legendary Ms. Cheyanne (Master in-training!). Due to the recent government social restrictions, Lion Choi's Taekwondo created virtual sessions and also offers private (one on one) sessions. Since 2010, my son has worked hard and done exceptionally well at Lion Choi’s Taekwondo under the direction of Master Choi. Now he has earned Black Belts and is an assistant instructor. Because of the core principles that Master Choi has instilled in his students, my son has grown to be disciplined both physically and academically, able to build relationships with others, and has developed self-awareness. PRO: Lion Choi is a fun, safe environment of kids and adults of all ages. They offer plenty of activities outside of just learning the martial arts. They also have great instructors who all work well with kids and and have a thorough knowledge of Taekwondo instruction. I also like the fact all students have an instruction binder to help them achieve the next level. The testing sessions are done with much thought and care and is enjoyable as a parent to participate in the belt ceremonies.
CON: The only caveat this parent has found so far is that LC seems obsessed with tacking every single offering

Lion Choi's Taekwondo has been a positive for my kids. 2 of my children are in the after school care only, and 1 of them is doing both after school as well as regular classes. My daughter that is taking the classes has made tremondous progress in her persuit of a black belt thanks to Master Choi and the other black belts at the school. Her self confidence has improved and she is also learning Korean while in class which is pretty amazing to experience.

I have a daughter that has been attending Lion Choi's Taekwondo since August. This is our second TKD school as we moved from the Seattle area where she started TKD. This school has a great family unity. There is a lot of diversity. The instruction is excellent and she really enjoys taking classes here. I feel secure with her here knowing her well being and safety is a priority.

After moving from Washington State to MD, my daughter took a break from TKD for a couple years. On a walk this summer she saw Lion Choi's and decided she wanted to get back into practice. We came and watched a few classes and she decided to join here. She really enjoys her instructors and classmates. Getting a 14 year old to do that can be tough, but there is a great group of families here at Lion Choi's. The teaching is excellent and there is a great deal of pride and respect at Lion Choi's. My admiration for Martial Arts revolves around its unique combination of physical and mental fortification. I am so glad I was referred by a friend to Lion Choi's Taekwondo! My daughter joined as a "little lion" and she loves going to class. She asks every morning if that day she has Taekwondo, when I answer yes, she gets so excited, when I answer no, she asks how long does she have to wait for it! It is clear that she loves the environment, it's family oriented and it's also fun. The instructors are great and Master Choi is simply awesome!
