Today I received a email asking me to write a review for my recent experience with Chesapeake Animal Clinic. I couldn’t help but both chuckle and cry, and think about what I could even write that would amount… to the amount of love I have been shown in the last 72 hours. I have been an employee of Chesapeake for about 5 years. Full time for about a year, and then Seasonal for the last 4. From the moment I walked in to my interview with Elita, I knew I had found my home. Fast forward many years later.. just a few days ago my beagle collapsed and was unable to get up. I had previously brought my two dogs to this location for nearly three years. One was a puppy they saw since she was a few months old, and had no issues until a different vet saw her, got in her face and then threatened to sedate and muzzle her because she barked at her. I nearly left then, but was able to complete the visit with no other issues. During COVID, my shepherd (same dog as the prior issue) was getting spayed. They didn’t communicate the timeline required for her secondary visit - little did I know it was supposed to be several weeks after. She ended up having a stitch not dissolve

I have been here once, it was a partial emergency, thankfully our cat was being overly dramatic, but because of the visit we got blood work done and are now working to help our cat with a possible heart issue, if it wasn’t for these guys squeezing us in last minute, and being so compassionate and respectful we wouldn’t have ever known what what going on with our big guy! I can’t thank you all enough! And even though your 30 min from my home we will definitely be going to you all from here on out!

I trust my 2 babies with the staff and Dr. Marsico. They not only love my cats but I see how sweet they are to every pet that comes through their door. I hate when I have to leave one of them but it's not as bad when you leave them with people you trust. I trust Chesapeake Animal Clinic.

We recently had to put our cat down, and had to switch vets in order to get an appointment sooner rather than later. Chesapeake animal clinic was extremely accommodating and got an appointment for us right away. They were extremely kind and caring during the process. I wish we had found this clinic sooner. Thank you for treating us and our kitty so well!
