Tidewater Veterinary Hospital

I have pets that go here and others that go to Three Notch. I had an emergency and Tidewater was able to get us in for an appointment. The other clinic couldn't see us for 3 days.

The Vet and staff showed so much compassion for me, my family and my sick fur baby. They helped me and my family in the emotional roller coaster that we had to go thru and showed so much compassion when we had to let our fur baby cross over to doggie heaven. Thank you for all the kind words and the support you show anyone in the grieving process. It is greatly appreciated.

Critical: Reliability, Responsiveness
I called to have my Lab and Rottweiler seen and they denied me due to the fact that they are not accepting new patients… In an area where there are only 2 veterinary option available I find that disheartening and honestly unbelievable. Wow. SMH

The veterinarians and workers are very helpful and caring. They all were awesome in taking care of my pomeranian Foxy.

I called this morning explained my dog is in serious pain! He Hasn’t slept all night and he constantly cries! They informed me they are not taking new patients.. I informed them that I am NOT a new patient. Apparently since I have not been there in a year I am no longer considered a client of theirs! My dog is crying in pain and they said there’s nothing they can do!!!! Will nevvvvvver recommend this place to anyone! The cold response I received blew my mind! End of rant! Hope they do better in the future for others

Tidewater helped us out in an emergency, with no questions asked. Unfortunately, my sweet kitty was suffering and they helped make the process as smooth as they could. They were patient, kind, understanding & informative. Thank you for helping us peacefully ease our sweet boys pain.

Great, affordable vet. Everyone there is extremely friendly and they did a great job when one of our senior dogs was mauled by another dog. All the vets are knowledgeable and are great will all of our pets. Bully breed friendly!!

The Doctors at Tidewater are the best. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my animals. I worked along side most of them for the six years I worked at Tidewater and they are all really knowledgeable and caring. They’ve been there for a lot of hard decisions that had to be made for my horses, for routine care, and for mass removals for my dog. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. 💙🤍

#NotOneMoreVet - Please educate yourself and truly think about what they do, the level of compassion they have and the dedication they ALL have....for our Pets and our own well-being/mental heath!

There are a few great techs and staff at this clinic but majority are very very rude. Paperwork lost, shot records incorrect, calls not returned and extremely long wait times. This office needs a major overhaul. I have moved on to an efficient, well organized and caring clinic with all my pets. FYI, there are several great vets here and one I would never trust.

Dr Benedict and the staff at Tidewater took exceptional care of Snickers for the 16 years he was with us. The compassion and empathy shown in the last few weeks will never be forgotten.

Dr Willis is awesome. She takes care of all three of my pups with different needs. Love her and the entire Tidewater staff.

Literally the best veterinarian place ever. will work with you and accommodate your dog wonderfully, i cannot recommend it enough, wish there was a way to give 6 stars.
