Theresa Qualls Counseling is a small, private practice, with myself as the sole clinician. I see only a limited numbers of people each week so that I can provide excellent care and availability to my clients. I can usually see someone the same week that they call. I do not work with insurance, but I do provide you with a receipt that contains appropriate coding to seek reimbursement yourself.

This protects the privacy of your medical records and allows me to focus solely on providing emotional care. Prior to becoming a therapist, I enjoyed careers in administration, teaching, and missions. I have worked as a therapist since 2008 when I received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.

Deciding to meet with a therapist is a big decision. If you're looking for a counselor who will help you look at what's really going on, I highly recommend Theresa. I have met with other counselors who listened but didn't quite get there. Theresa cares deeply and has incredible insight. She will truly delve into what is going on for you and help you through it.

Theresa has helped me heal beyond belief!! As someone who has dealt with a significant amount of trauma, and who has stuck with her through her process, I can speak to her expertise. She is kind, truthful, loving, wise, emphatic and faithful. I think of John 5:6, when Jesus asks the paralytic, ‘Do you want to be well?’... well, to answer this takes an honest look at our own brokenness and part in the healing. Theresa is like Christ in that question...she has the knowledge and heart, but do we truly want healing or to stay stuck?

If I could give negative stars I would. If you are looking for a therapeutic experience you have come to the wrong place. A therapist will not tell you how to feel or invalidate your view of the world. Teresa has not mastered this skill and caused my friend great distress.
