It has taken me a week to write this because I am still in disbelief, and upset of what occurred last weekend. However, I wanted to share my AWFUL and traumatic experience at Buena Vista Animal Hospital to… possibly prevent this from happening to another family!
Two weeks ago, I called around to try and find a good welcoming place to board my two dogs while my husband, three kids and I went to a retreat in Florida for a weekend. I choosed this place as I had a difficult time getting my dog in at my regular veterinarian. At first Dr.Tenazi seemed very caring until the day I agreed to have my dog sedated for x-rays due to ongoing joint pain for closure. I dropped my dog of like requested at 9am and it comes that I got contacted by the office because they forgot to have me… sign sedation form. That was at 1.30 pm! This should have been a red flag already. After they finally sedated my dog, and as I was picking him up same day in the evening, my bill was almost 500$ for "6" x-rays etc. needed which was fine. Hands down the best vet clinic I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I had to put my girl to rest yesterday. It was the hardest thing I have ever done but they were so compassionate and caring that it made it more bearable. You can tell that they all truly love and care for the animals they work with and their owners. I am forever grateful for you guys. Thank you!

Had to find a last minute appointment for my dog, and this is the only place that said they'd take the same day. That was instant appreciation from me. And for an emergency a few weeks later they took us in the next morning even when they had no availability. I've called last minute, I've called for advice, and I've always got the most amazing service. They'll talk through treatment, budget, everything. No surprises. Just awesome people who love your pets!

They were the only ones I could find when I had an emergency with my guinea pig I took him there and they took amazing care of my joker and I’m glad I found a vet and staff that is so caring and loving when it… comes to my piggy I would recommend them for anyone who has small pets that most places won’t take cause they don’t have the vet for them but they have been a blessing since I found them they call and check on my baby to make sure he is doing well so from me and joker thank y’all for everything y’all do for him

We love this vet so much. We take both our girl dogs here. The doctors helped us through our surprise pregnant foster (later turned foster-failure). You can tell everyone really here cares about your animals. We've lived all over and had multiple vets, Buena Vista is definitely our favorite of them all!
