The air conditioning unit in your vehicle operates similarly to a refrigerator. Your vehicle's air conditioning unit is designed to move heat from the inside of your car to outside of it. The refrigerant carries heat. In modern cars, refrigerant is a substance called R-134a. Older cars' refrigerant is called r-12 freon, which is more expensive and difficult to find than R-134a.

Shark Tooth made an opening for our minivan despite being very busy! We are from Indiana and were worried about being stranded while waiting to find a repair shop in the area during the week of Christmas.
Shark Tooth made an opening and fixed our engine issue within 3 hours! And we had no issues on the long drive back to Indiana!

Saved the Day!
After a complete nightmare starting with my truck breaking down on I65 on a dark night in Evergreen, AL, it was towed to a shop there that had it for over 3 weeks, who never called me, replaced multiple parts without authorization, decided they were not equipped to fix it, sent it back here still not running with the ECM missing, and charged me for all of it. Shark Tooth came to the rescue. They fixed the truck at a minimal cost. I would recommend Shark Tooth to anyone!

Traveled from Memphis, had an electrical problem with our Audi Q5 - the Shark Tooth was the only garage that was kind enough to help travelers passing by. The car was repaired and serviced fast (an afternoon) for a reasonable price. Great service, wish all auto repair shops are like Sharks Tooth!!

The level of customer service deserves 5 stars, the level of work deserves 4 stars. While on vacation with a bad steering rack they were able to fit me in, even between holidays when a lot of shops were closed. I'm assuming they were very busy and forgot to tighten a few bolts. 900 miles later, a shop at home tightened the bolts and it's good now. When in the area, I will go there again if I'm in need of service and feel confident everything would be done correctly.

Had my radiator replaced several weeks ago by Shark Tooth. 2 weeks later my car died at the drive in lane in Walgreens. Panicked!! I called them immediately and KEVIN sent me a mechanic to my rescue in less than 10 minutes!! It was not related to the radiator. Just a simple battery in my ignition key. Been a couple weeks since the Mrs. got her car fixed; it was not starting after being driven and turned off. While it was warm/hot it was not starting at all! After taking it to Shark Tooth they fixed it… quickly and I had to share her comment, after asking her a day or so a go; “It’s so weird to start the car now, it seems like it’s got so much power and starts very fast!
