Services
Freedom Path Counseling was founded in 2018 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit Christian Counseling organization in Lawrenceville, Georgia. We seek to serve those struggling in our community with a faith-based approach to navigating life's difficulties and challenges. We employ Board Certified Pastoral Counselors and Licensed Professional Counselors to provide the best possible care for a variety of issues faced by today's families.
It's our desire to provide affordable counseling services to all in need, and never turn individuals away due to financial concerns. In order to accomplish this, we have a sliding scale available on a limited basis. Please contact us for more information. We understand the unique issues adults experience in relation to navigating life and faith.
Choosing to try counseling is a really big step for most people. In the digital world we live in, it's not common to have safe spaces to be ourselves and share our inner most thoughts and feelings. Counseling is one place where it's okay to be yourself and discuss the difficulties you've experienced.
We offer marriage counseling to help you improve communication, resolve conflict, and experience a more fulfilled relationship. Sometimes, present day pressures combined with past challenges and future worries push marriages into chaos. We desire to help you understand the diving force behind your everyday action and provide a pathway to healing and restoration.
Relationships have the potential to be meaningful and fulfilling when experienced as intended. Unfortunately, couples don't always feel their relationship is thriving. Our goal for couples counseling is to help you experience renewal in your relationship and thrive as a couple. This often means focusing on your individual journey as you grow as partners.

Chad Potts is a wonderful counselor, mentor, spiritual leader, community leader/organizer and business owner. He has years of training and experience in the field of faith-based counseling, discipleship and leadership and is gifted in many other areas. I have known the director, Chad Potts, for a number of years through our connection as fellow Board members for the GA Christian Counselors Association.
