Services
Keith was born and raised in the Santa Fe Community of Maury County. He is the son of the late Ralph and Mai (Woody) Baker. He graduated from Santa Fe High School and attended Radio School in Atlanta, Georgia. Travis Hensley; and ten grandchildren. Keith began his successful business career in Columbia in 1976 when he opened Keith Baker Homes - a manufactured housing sales center.
A final resting place unlike any in this area. Maury Memorial Gardens is located adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home's facility on Bear Creek Pike. The cemetery features ground burials and a chapel mausoleum with crypts and cremation niches. It is uniquely designed and beautifully landscaped to create a park-like setting.

My mother passed away this last weekend on 11/11/2021..it has been a really tough and trying week for everyone who knew her. I am thankful that so many friends and family made very long journeys to pay respects and say their goodbyes. We are all still in shock at such a loss....I am beyond grateful that my brothers Nathan and Jason ,as well as their wives and children pulled through to help out beyond expectation! ..but nothing will truly ever fill the void that she left behind..it is my only hope that we honor her memory and try to fill this void with so much love and compassion that she knows

From the time they walked into my house to pick up my husband to the time we laid him in the ground the faculty at Heritage made us feel like family. Keith, Tately, Michelle & Rick went above and beyond for our family in ways we could never repay. Today I visited Heritage Funeral Home to make preparations for the event all of us must /will one day face. My appointment was with Linda Thomas. Oh what a fine lady! The visit was beyond anything I could have imagined. Who walks out of a funeral home not just edified and feeling relieved but laughing and anticipating the next visit! The director of the funeral home has gone past a point of disrespect. He is not known in the family nor was his opinion asked for when he posted on a grieving mother’s page telling her that tribute to her daughter was an “over played” song. This person had no involvement what so ever to even feel the need to voice his opinion. Everyone chooses… to represent their loved ones in their own way. Your funeral director Dale Shelton is the most inconsiderate, disrespectful excuse of a human you could possibly have working for you. He feels the need to use his Facebook page to disrespect memorials posted by loved ones of those they’ve lost. He lacks compassion for what he does and the family members he serves. From the man that opened the door for me, the nice lady in the office, the funeral director that was so very kind to the owner himself! I was not impressed by Rick Points and the handling of the end of the service for s recent firefighter. Every service I’ve ever been to the person who’s life is being celebrated leaves the chapel first, then the family and finally the people whose are following the hearse. Never in my life has the funeral home stood up and said, “that concludes our service.” Always has it been the way I mentioned earlier.

My mothers ashes were not ready for the memorial. They never called or mentioned anything until everyone arrived. When we made the arrangements that was what was communicated not sure why it took 5 days for "miscommunication". Needless to say after flying in from California to take her home as that was her dying wish it left an unfortunate ending to what should be a time of closure, honor and respect! How terrible and shame on you heritage for making someone's day of mourning and closure such a negative experience.
