Services
In October of 1985, Mr. Duncan became the sole owner of London Funeral Home and Crematory and Cornersville Funeral Home. The lovely Victorian home, presently London Funeral Home, was originally built by John A. Marshall. Today you come into our building, from a spacious parking area, by a sloping ramp giving everyone easy access whether walking, aided by a walker or in a wheel chair.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.

You will find that we take great pride in our facilities, vehicles and cemetery equipment with all being well maintained. Our staff open, close and service our graves. We provide for your monument needs, also, with our cemetery staff setting the monuments in the cemetery. Our monument equipment is capable of handling the largest of monuments with great care.
All we need to do is say the word "funeral" and within microseconds, you have an image in your mind of what a funeral looks like. This mental image comes from many sources: the geographical place, culture and society in which we live; our faith; our life experience.

I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in a business. To start, while we were grieving, there were costs thrown in without mentioning up front. When I asked for an itemized statement before we left, I was told "I can't do that, and I wish those men would quit telling people that I can. You can have it when you come back for the funeral." WHO is going to dispute charges when they're about to say goodbye to their loved ones at that very moment ?! I've kept quiet, and let it go, thinking it was done, and move on. Now we're 6 months later and the date hasn't been cut on his headstone, because

London Funeral Home did an exceptional job during my loss. Their staff is extremely caring and compassionate and answered all the questions I had. They walked us through the process of what the next steps were and what was going to happen during that time and made it easy to understand even after our sudden loss. They went above and beyond throughout the whole process from making arrangements to even after the burial when we were picking out a grave stone. Would highly recommend this funeral home.
