A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic X-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

I have worked with Dr Piskor and his staff for decades, initially in his Cambridge location and chose to follow him to his present Lexington location. He is thoroughly competent and professional , a god diagnostician. I have had myriad of dental problems over my life and trust him with my dental care.

I have always received outstanding dental care at Dr. Piskor's office. I have never experienced any problems after the dental work has been done, so as far as I can tell it is being done very well. Sharin (sp?) is an excellent hygienist, gets my teeth really clean, and does a very careful and thorough job every time. Diane and others at the front desk are very helpful with appointments, insurance, and bills. I highly recommend this office.

Totally agree with Ryan G. Dr. Piskor became impatient with me for having to use carbocaine rather than novocaine, to which I'm allergic. Very unpleasant man. No interpersonal skills whatsoever and no empathy for patients who require a different sort of approach than he's used to or that he prefers. Highly unrecommended.
