Great Falls United Methodist Preschool has provided quality education in a loving, Christian environment for over 60 years. It is a ministry of the Great Falls United Methodist Church. The preschool files annually the requirements as specified in Section 63.2-1716 of the Code of Virginia to be a Religious Exempt Center.
In addition to our highly experienced and exceptionally qualified staff, we are proud of the partnership parents and teachers form to provide the best possible environment for the growth and development of "our" children. The ultimate goal of this partnership is to enable each child to be better prepared for and interested in learning while acquiring a sense of his/her own unique worth.

Services
At GFUMP we strive to instill a strong foundational love of learning through the time-honored philosophy of learning and discovering through play. Academic success naturally follows! We encourage the development of the whole child: physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually and intellectually. Fundamentals of math, science, and language arts are all included as we nurture the social and emotional growth of each individual child.
Great Falls United Methodist Preschool operates from the day after Labor Day through mid June. We have programs for children aged 18-months through 5-years-old. Standard hours for our preschool are from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. although your child's day can be extended until 1:15 p.m. for an additional fee.
Please consider applying now as spots are very limited. The application process for the 2022-2023 school year will begin in January. Currently enrolled students and active church members are guaranteed a space in our preschool. Younger siblings of currently enrolled students and alumni will receive early consideration and may also apply early.
Great Falls United Methodist Preschool is composed of wonderful, loving, and patient teachers, many of which have served our school for decades. Almost all of our teachers have had children and/or grandchildren attend our preschool, so it's near and dear to our hearts and a part of our family traditions.
