Dr. Nguyen is originally from Philippi, West Virginia. She graduated from West Virginia University Summa Cum-laude with her Bachelor's degree in Animal and Veterinary Science in 2005. She then attended the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine and graduated Cum-laude with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Acupuncture is the mainstay of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Used for thousands of years, acupuncture involves inserting small needles into specific points on an animal in order to regulate nerve conduction, lymphatic flow, blood flow and movement of cells within the body in order to promote healing and overall health.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any animal. Dental disease leads to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of three years old suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.

The staff and Dr. Nguyen were wonderful to my kitty Savannah when she had a dental emergency. Noone else willing to see her and even though they were very busy they took us in. Everyone there was friendly and professional and their services were very reasonably priced. Well worth the drive from Cumberland to Keyser! I will highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their furbabies!

So we had an appt because our girl was not acting herself. We arrived 20 minutes before our appointed time and waited for about 30 minutes after our appointed time. We called when we got there to let them know that we had arrived. About 5 more clients showed up and was taken into the building. Not once did anyone come talk to us, let us know they were backed up or anything. Needless to say we left without our girl getting to be seen or without a phone call from anyone there to see where we were.. needless to say completely unprofessional.. I'm just glad my baby wasn't actually in peril or dying

Dr. Storm and Dr. Nguyen both treat my senior dog and they are great with him. They always provide me options to increase my fur baby's quality of life as he is developing ailments given his advanced age. All the other staff is also great with my dog and I. Furthermore, the prices for my numersous visits and prescriptions don't break the bank which allows me to take better care of my "pup". Thank you Mountainview Veterinary Services for caring about my dog almost as much as I do. :-)

My mom's mini horse had an obstruction from his feed. She has had issues finding an equine veterinarian that will visit her remote West VA location. She got the number of the clinic from a friend and called the emergency hotline. Kathryn Storm came early on a Sunday morning to access the situation and intabate my mom's horse in order to remove the obstruction.
Kathryn Storm was very patient and helpful. She took care of the blockage and handwrote several pages of aftercare instructions and scheduled a follow up home visit later in the week. She has truly been a lifesaver for my mom and we are

Excellent care for our sick dog. Our dog had an emergency earlier this year and Mountainview was able to get her in right away. All the vets there worked with her, but the main contact was Dr. Nguyen. I cannot say enough for the care that they provided her. All the Vets and Vet Techs we worked with show great compassion for what was going on with her. Sadly in the end her issues were too great and she had to be put down.
Mountainview Vet Services did everything in their power to get her through her ordeal and we felt like they were treating her as if she was one of their own personal pets.

After finding a mysterious growth on my rat Remi's eye MountainView is the only place around here that had the staff that at least knew something about rats so the looked at her and gave me the best possible diagnosis in the worst. We started her on eye drops and hoped for the best now she's back to her old self all her energy is back and the growth is almost completely gone
