Services
Our fees range from $180 to $325 for an appointment depending on which professional you see and for how long. All fees are due in full at the time of service. Mount Vernon Counseling Center does not accept reassignment of benefits from any insurance company and does not bill insurance companies directly.
Anxiety Disorders can present themselves in several varieties. Basically all could be thought of as due to brain alarm systems that are out of balance, running in overdrive. Depression used to be defined as simply an emotional reaction caused by bad events, experiences or losses. However, we observed that sometimes people got depressed in the midst of happy times.
Professionals including physicians, dentists and nurses as well accountants, lawyers, and executive officers have unique challenges and struggles emotionally. The demands of their profession as well as people's image of them as dependable, strong and unbreakable leaders place them in a challenging and vulnerable position.

I have had a wonderful experience at Mount Vernon Counseling Center! I could not be more pleased with the treatment, care and professionalism from the staff. My therapist in particular (Steffanie Kelshaw), is truly incredible. I never feel judged, always feel safe and she's so responsive if I ever need her outside of our scheduled therapy time. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
