We understand that seeking therapy and/or finding a new therapist can be a confusing, overwhelming, or even scary process, so give yourself credit for getting this far! It is important that you feel comfortable and safe with your therapist, and that you choose someone who you think you might work well with.

Services
Alexandria Therapy was founded by Dr. Angel J. Daniels, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Daniels has completed specialized training in the treatment of trauma/PTSD, and in providing services to those who have perpetrated sexual offenses and/or who struggle with concerns related to their sexual interests or behaviors.
We believe that the most effective therapeutic relationships are based in warmth, acceptance, dignity, and mutual respect. We approach therapy with the belief that a supportive and nonjudgmental environment is necessary in order for one to explore and understand their past experiences and how they have shaped who they are today, and to choose healthy and positive ways of moving forward.
Our office is located in the heart of quaint Del Ray, Alexandria, 1 mile from the Braddock Metro (on the yellow/blue lines). There is a bus stop out front, and free street parking. Please note that our office is located on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator (so it may not be accessible for those with mobility issues).
