Pure Hair was established in 2006 as a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon in Lutz. Pure Hair is Allen's third salon in the Tampa Bay area and he has been practicing cosmetology for 22 years. Allen is a Paul Mitchell National Educator and encourages his staff to have a thirst for education. At Pure Hair we specialize in Paul Mitchell color and cutting techniques.

Allen has been practicing cosmetology for 25 plus years in the Tampa Bay area. He has owned 4 salons and currently resides at Pure Hair in Lutz. Allen has furthered his education with Paul Mitchell, earning his National Educator Status. He loves to exceed his clients expectations with his color and highlighting techniques, and personalized hair cutting style.

The prices for services were clearly shown on their website when I booked my appointment with Allen. I did not inquire further at arrival as I don’t have the type of hair that is ever extra. The price when I paid was $115 more than the website. I called and spoke with the manager (Michael) who said they were doing a new website at the time. I wouldn’t have made the appointment had I know their new pricing. The manager said he would check on something and call me back. He never called me back. It is unfortunate that the customer service was lacking and especially at this price point.

I have been coming to Allen for years now and I NEVER leave the salon disappointed!!! I moved to Fruitland Park 3 years ago and I still drive the two hours to Allen for my hair, it is totally worth the drive he just does an absolutely amazing job and there’s no one else that can compare which is why I will continue to make the long distance drive!!! I recently got extensions put in but unfortunately the lady who put them in "doesn't like to cut hair" (never a good sign) so I had to get a trim to even everything out & mix well. Wanted to go the economical route since I had already spent so much money buying the hair, putting it in, etc.
I had the pleasure of having Sarah, the salon leader, cut my hair. I walked in during my quick hour lunch break to get a dry cut. She immediately sat me down & got to work. I’ve been a client of Allen’s for over 7 years. Allen and his team are professional and always keeping up with the latest trends. I am always happy when I leave with my high and low lights and also my quarterly Keratin Treatment. I went from having naturally curly hair, to straight and I love it! First time to this salon. Ashley was great. Highlights & cut. Explained all products used & a bit of what they do. Entire staff super friendly. Love that the owner is there if customers or staff have questions. Very reasonable prices. I was pleased as I was having a no questions asked pamper day and when they asked I said sure why not... price was about $40 less then expected.

This salon is absolutely wonderful! If you are looking for an amazing hair service, go here! I promise, you will never be disappointed by the staff's beautiful smiles and there even more beautiful masterpieces. The main focus of the staff is to turn your hair into a blank canvas, which will be beautiful at the end of the job. You will never ever leave disappointed. I recommend seeing Allen because he has been in this business since he was a teenager. His passion for work won't ever cease to shine through.

Finding a new colorist/stylist is one of my top least favorite things to do. I love my curls, but finding someone who can make them beautiful is difficult at best. And, my hair is fine so it damages easily. After two failed outcomes at other salons, I scheduled an appointment with Daniel. I wanted a balance in my over-processed highlights with textured, bouncy curls. The finished product looks amazing! Not just "so-so, yeah I can live with it"... I actually love it! Daniel is energetic, creative and has a wonderful vision for what will look good on you. He listens to you and has the talent to create

Daniel at Pure Hair is absolutely fabulous! My family went in on a busy Saturday to get our hair cut and Daniel not only did a wonderful job styling my husband's hair, he cut and colored my hair to give me a fresh new look! Even my 3 year old son loves to go see "Mr. Daniel" to get
his haircut. Daniel is super patient and is a fantastic and creative stylist!!
