Jan did an amazing job on my hair! I went with an idea and really unsure of how to express what I wanted but she was able to piece together what I wanted. I am extremely happy with my hair and Jan was so kind and patient with me! Also the other stylist Jackie was so kind and sweet too! Its not one of those places that you go in and feel like a number; they were warm and welcoming.

Jan is amazing. Her passion shines through her work! She really took the time to get to know me. This salon is a great experience all around! I don’t do well with stylist because it’s so hard to find one that is just for you. However, Jan made the whole experience amazing through and through. My hair looked and felt better than it had in a year or better and I booked two follow up appointments! This salon is a great small business feel and I could not say enough good things about this woman, her salon and the experience she provides!

I would highly recommend Studio J and will definitely be returning. Jan styled and colored my hair exactly how I asked, and it turned out amazing! (1st hairstylist of 4 since I’ve lived in Tampa who actually did my hair as I asked... not how they wanted). The salon was sleek and classy, yet still had a very peaceful atmosphere where I felt truly relaxed. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, friendly, and polite. Overall great experience!

I have found my stylist! For so long I've gotten a service and then waited- sometimes years -to try someone else because I wasn't happy with the result. And repeat cycle many times over. I moved to Tampa and was in desperate need of a haircut and highlights. I am very picky about my hair, but I needed something done quickly. I googled and found Jan. I read the reviews and everyone had great things to say about her, so I booked an appointment. I loved the look of the salon as I entered, so I was hopeful. My visit exceeded any expectations I had. Jan is FABULOUS! She listened to what I wanted and gave me a great cut and awesome highlights. I She made me feel comfortable and we had a great conversation, with lots of laughs. Ok, sooo I went here for bangs. The hairdresser, Jackie, was like "ok hear me out..." I was so thrilled to have her give me her honest opinion on what would look good on me based on my face shape and hair. She asked me what I did for a living, what my morning routine was like and all that jazz before suggesting. I am so glad I listened to her! I am loving my new haircut!! I'm in love!! "J" knows hair, she is the master of blonde highlights, I moved 1000 miles away and still can't find a stylist as knowledgeable and experienced in the field as her in my area (Philadelphia). She also provides a friendly (and relaxed) yet professional environment at her salon. I don't always keep up on the trends but she does and shares what she has learned over the years if I want to change my look. Basically, she does great work!
