As a 1st time customer, I was extremely satisfied with the service I recently (March 2nd, 2021) received at Dakis Service Center. Not only was the work done in a timely fashion, Matt actually found the issue with my Heat/AC unit and repaired it at a very reasonable cost. This is after I had the dealership look at the issue on 3 previous occasions. I will certainly be back with all future repairs. I am 100% satisfied with the work.

Second time visit to Dakis and they went above and beyond for me. I was in a major time crunch, called them at 3pm and asked if they could work miracles on my screechy brakes. They said ok and I dropped it off right as they were closing around 6pm. It was fixed and ready at 11am the next day. Saved me big time. Prices are good. They do good work and get it done quick. I absolutely recommend Dakis.

I was hoping that the glowing reviews for this place stayed true (the most recent one I saw on yelp was from 2018), but unfortunately, I wasted my time going here. I made an appointment online, which apparently is useless because it ended up in their junk mail so they didn't acknowledge it. I get that things happen, but what really sealed the deal for me was the guy's rude demeanor. As soon as I walked in, I was barely greeted and all I got were sighs and he looked at me like why the heck am I there. He sighed saying that he wouldn't be able to see my car for a few days. My brother recommended taking our vehicles to Dakis Service Center and I am so glad we listened! We have used Dakis Service Center three times now and received outstanding service each time. Rob & Matt are up-front with costs, honest, and do fantastic work. I found his prices to be below the prices at Merchants and NTB (comparing same-to-same services). Highly recommend using this mechanic!

I highly recommend Dakis Service Center. I have visited Matt's shop a handful of times for various services ranging from a simple tire plug to serious engine repair work. He has always been exceptionally quick with an accurate diagnosis and performing the subsequent repairs at an honest and fair price. I have not experienced the level of auto care and such a personable mechanic at any other shop in Howard County. If you need something done to your vehicle, go to Dakis!

What can I say? I have found my auto repair place for life. I had brake work that I had put off and ultimately I had to get the pads and rotors replaced. After visiting jiffy lube for a oil change only to be told I was in the red on my pads. There was a auto repair right next door so the guy at jiffy lube got me a quote. Came back with it and it was 1,056.00 to replace the rotors and pads! I was shocked. I then did some research and came across Dakis. I was impressed with all the rave reviews. Gave Matt a call and he took me right away. Dropped off my car and told him I was going out of town

I wish more businesses operated like Matt runs Dakis Service Center. They are welcoming, attentive, down-to-earth, and thorough. They explain the problems in a very matter-of-fact way and don't push or scare you into decisions, they just tell you what they found and what the numbers are to make it right. The pricing is very fair and I will be back.

About an hr later they called stating that my calipers were seized and therefore I would need new calipers as well, bringing the total price up to $750. I'm no mechanic, but I'm also not stupid enough to believe that a 2013 car would have calipers that needed replacing already.

I recently took my car to Dakis for some service work. I called up and Talked to Matt Amigo, who I later found out was the owner, and he was very professional and informative.
The quality of service was quick and fast, and he even drove me back to my work since I was close by.
I would definitely recommend Dakis for honest work and pricing.

I took my car here based on the positive reviews about their honesty, but now it's shocking that they have gotten so many. After telling me that I needed my front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced and giving me an estimate of more than $800, I took my car elsewhere. I traded cars with my parents (who live an hour away) and they took it to their friend. My front brake pads and rotors were fine, but the rear pads and rotors needed to be replaced. He ended up replacing the front brake pads anyway to save me an hour drive in the future, even though they could have lasted. This cost me $160

To say that they saved me would be an understatement. I arrived at 8:30am with a car that had been sitting dormant for 5 months. Said car had a slew of issues but somehow needed to get me to DC by 1:30pm for a wedding I was shooting. Not an ideal situation, but they handled my madness well and were able to get my car up and running to "get me to the church, get me to the church on time." --- Any Sinatra fans out there?

Finally honest mechanics! As elusive as the albino jackalope unicorn.
Found these guys highly rated and reviewed on Yelp and decided to dive in and take a chance. Turned out to be a great decision. So my clutch pedal went into the floor and wouldn't come back up. Before calling these guys, I called at least 3 other local shops (who should, but will not be named) and the 1 that actually got back to me (the next day) gave me a pretty generic assessment and insisted on getting me and my car in and taking my money first before giving me any hint of a scenario.
