The Mill Wharf Restaurant, on the very site of the original mill, commands a panoramic view from every side. The continual movement of fishing boats and pleasure craft in and out of the harbor, passing by the lighthouse, and on to the open waters of the Atlantic, provides unending entertainment. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
The Mill Wharf easily seats two hundred with room for an additional one hundred on the deck. Both menus are available to view online. Reservations are encouraged, if you arrive without a reservation, please call the restaurant to see when the next available table is available. Please dress appropriately as the deck can get chilly.

Went during the summer months, I was seated outside on the deck. The view was absolutely incredible. Elizabeth my waitress, a down to earth Irish personality Bostonian was lovely, she suggested the Lobster roll which I had with Homemade onion rings and FFs…..lobster meat was nice and fresh, onion rings were superb, the roll could have been toasted a little more. Overall this place is great and I discovered they have an upstairs dining area with outdoor seating and a full bar. I live on the South Shore so I’ll be back with my family.

Mill Warf was outstanding!!!! Wife and I went for lunch and sat on the deck on an awesome sunny day after a few days of rain! We both had the best lobster roll we have ever had!!! There was so much lobster in it, it was crazy!!!! My wife loved the steamers for an app, I had the clam chowda! Was great! Service was great!

The nachos are fantastic. Usually I would scoff at $10 nachos, but these are worth every penny. Sure, the burger and onion rings are delicious too, and the staff are friendly, and the water views are incredible, but the real story here is the amazing mountain of nachos. It's huge, so enjoy with a friend. Or by yourself as a celebration after catching a 900-pound bluefin tuna with Mass Bay Guides.

Pricey. Average food, nothing special. Calamari were well executed, the shrimp and scallops not as much. Does any cook in restaurants these days know how to salt the water properly when blanching or cooking pasta? Good service although the waiter didn't know how to describe the preparation of the dish.

This was the worst experience I have ever had here tonight. Yes they were busy but that's not an excuse for being rude to patrons.
I have four children and have been eating at this restaurant for a few years, since we moved to Scituate. We've dined with children and grandparents, for celebrations and baby showers.
I walked in tonight and was very rudely greeted by an older hostess. I asked how long the wait would be for a larger party (9 people, 2 families, for a child's birthday). They indicated we would not be seated until 8pm...fine. I wanted my friends family to enjoy their

Jose had the Fisherman Platter for his main course. Jose wasn't to impressed with today's meal. The meal didn't have any seasoning or flavor.
Giving the platter 2 and a half Forks outs of 5.
On the other hand. I (Ollie) had the half a bone-in chicken dish.
The chicken was juice and flavorful. I'll try it again... Restaurant was clean and great decor from the surrounding area and ocean.

The Mill Wharf has always been a staple on the waterfront of Scituate harbor. The views are spectacular and the service is always great. Usually the food will rarely disappoint or wow you. Until now. There have been some leadership changes in the kitchen and the food has been over the top! It's a lot of the same old favorites but with a new treatment by the creative new crew. The Lump crab cake is like nothing I've ever had there and it wowed me. If you haven't been in a while get out there and give them a try.

A few people were dining outside on the deck, but it was still a bit chilly. Since it wasn't crowded there were many indoor tables with a water view. I usually get the beet salad at the Mill Wharf. Today we shared it to start. The beets, goat cheese, onions , craisins and candied pecans create the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The fish sandwich was lightly fried and the bun was soft and tasty. Lettuce, tomato and onion added just the right touch. The onion rings were flaky, delicious and not too greasy. The servers were friendly, efficient and practiced COVID procedures. Can&apos

Lovely view, called ahead for a reservation and were seated promptly. Lobster stew was delicious, our meals were very good but all the sides were very bland and unseasoned, we hardly touched them. Prices were high but not outrageous. Katie was friendly and sweet, and doubles as a photographer (for nearly every table!).

We were so looking forward to a lunch outside on a beautiful day, but had a really poor experience all-around. First of all, the tables were absolutely not 6' apart, and when i asked (very nicely) about it, got rudeness and then they shoved our table against the bus station to create more room. But we were determined to make a nice day of it.
The food was so disappointing. My salad was a bowlful of greens, an unripe avocado, and soggy old strawberries. The dressing was straight out of a bottle - and not tasty. My husbands lobster roll was a mess on a plate, scattered around, soggy bun

We ordered a take out and when went to pick decided to eat in seeing how beautifully they were following state guide lines of Social distancing. The host Emma and server Greta were awesome. When i opened my takeout bag and noticed how soggy my fries were. It was take out I know. But Greta was very kind to get me some fresh french fries, we just needed handful but it was the willingness to make us feel welcome, made me write this review. We will come back again,

Secret menu: unlocked! Actually, it's no secret - just get the nachos.
They deconstruct the whole heap for $1 and the resulting melange of dips, spreads and chopped veg is ready, set, WHOA to welcome your massive pile of cheese-loaded chips.
It's stupid big, and very satisfying. The layering of the base ingredients is masterful: a real work of love.
Views of the harbor are nice, I hear. Couldn't see over the mountain of 'chos before me.

Getting better! I've been here plenty of times over the years. Haven't been in over a year, I must say since then the food quality has gotten much much much better.
Update: was just here again, the other day. (12-8-18) Food quality was great. Service was spectacular. Our waitress was great. We usually sit upstairs, this time we sat downstairs. Really nice environment this trip. I'll be back next time in Scituate.
