Cask 'n Flagon has been a Fenway staple since 1969. As second generation operators we are immensely proud to continue the legacy that our father, our guests and our employees have built. Certainly much has changed since 1969 but the one thing that has always remained the same are the stories we hear every day about the memories created here.

Cask 'n Flagon Boston is located directly next to historic Fenway Park right where many left field homeruns have landed after flying over the famous Green Monster. Having originally opened in 1969, the Cask, as many people prefer to call it, has earned its place in Fenway history. Named "Top Baseball Bar" in America by ESPN, stopping in at this location before and after Red Sox games has become a ritual for all true Sox fans.
Cask 'n Flagon Marshfield is our second restaurant and sports bar, located just 20 miles south of the historic original. With Marshfield being a relatively small, quaint seaside town, it was our desire to open a restaurant on the south shore that would provide an atmosphere typically only found in the city.

The service was horrible. The server literally came over and asked my friend and I what we wanted. Never once introduced herself. Never offered any specials or attempted to upsell. She was rude and rushed us along. We were only at our table for a minute at most. We felt like a burden and wanted to leave immediately but we were starving so we decided to order. She dropped the food and walked away. Not pleasant or sociable whatsoever. Never once pre-bussed. Dishes and glasses continued to pile up. She never once bussed a single thing. Once we were finished she came by and dropped the check. Never

I labored over this. Have had pretty OK meals here. Have had fish and chips and enjoyed them previously. Kids love the atmosphere, and all the TVs. To be honest they really don't eat or care for the food.
Walked in on a Friday. Group of five, two adults and three kids. Was busy, but 0 minute wait. Waited over 30-min for the food. Wasn't the end of the world, but most everything was cold or cool, at best.
Manager delivered my food, which was there approach to reducing cross contamination. My stomach feels like that was a failure. I got the BBQ platter with ribs and brisket. Hands down

Not sure what happened usually love this place. Went in Sunday ordered 8 adult meals and not one good one came out. 1 kids meal, grill cheese spectacular. I understand the help problems so I tried taking the burden off waitress by going to bar for our drinks. I believe this was case of low standards by cook or manager.
Hoping next time is back to standards of yesteryear.

Made reservations for dinner and drinks on a Friday night at 6:30 and we were lucky we made reservations. Parking lot was PACKED and lots of people waiting around the hostess to be seated. Atmosphere is loud and lively with music playing and lots of TV's. We were seated immediately and ordered some drinks (Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashion and Pumpkin Martini) and and appetizer of loaded Tots. Drinks were made perfect with just the right amount of alcohol and sweetness. Loaded Tots came out crispy and cheesy and were amazing.
I ordered Stir Fry with Chicken. Flavor was great, but for $6

Although I usually have had relatively good food, my experience there yesterday was awful. I ordered a bread bowl of clam chowder, I couldn't even bite into the bread, it was that hard. I sent it back, and asked for just a bowl of chowder. I was up all night with a mild case of food poisoning. Never again.

Dependably terrific food, drinks, and service. My husband loves their blackened chicken pasta. I really enjoy their fish tacos. Only time we've ever had an issue was one Saturday night there with friends. The music in the bar was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak without really raising our voices. No other complaints at all.

Bbq, I smoke better bbq in my backyard on the weekends. They really need to step their smoked bbq game up if they're going to have it be a major part of their menu.
The brisket I had was so dry. My philosophy is that if you need to add sauce to bbq you did it wrong.
Other than the bbq needing work. I would recommend the place.

Food and service were very good. Our waitress Jordan was attentive and informative. Cocktails was delicious as was the entrees. BBQ brisket and pork belly ends with Mac and cheese and coleslaw all tasted delicious. My girlfriend got the blackened chicken pasta which she said was very tasteful. With options for outdoor or indoor seating, TV's everywhere with sports and good drinks, food, and staff. This place did not disappoint

I haven't eaten here in a while, but I ordered dinner for my family last night and it was sooo tasty! Even though we called a half hour before the kitchen closed everything was still cooked deliciously.
The blackened chicken tacos were perfect, the kids cheeseburger was a perfect size, but the bun is a bit large for the size of the patty. And my boyfriend thouroughly enjoyed his lobster roll. The cauliflower rice was soo tasty too.
Overall the total was pretty expensive, I understand because that's what restaurants are charging nowadays, but im happy with our meal, i feel like we got

Honestly it was like being in a Club only on top of the Music there were 30 TVs as well. It was so overwhelming loud that it's all I could think about while looking at the Menu.
Menu was standard Sports Bar fare. Blah.
Started with a Giant Pretzel hanging on a hook with 3 sauces. This is a fave of ours from the Abington Ale House so we got one. Not even close. It was greasy. The Cheese Sauce was super salty.
I had Fajitas that were the SPECIAL and they weren't. Not Special at all. I got the Steak Fajitas which came Rare. My mistake for not asking to have them
