Since 1972, Bill Mathews Auto Body & Powder Coating has been a staple in the Springfield, Illinois area. Bob Mathews and Lisa Mathews Highley carry on the same tradition that their father had started by providing the same exceptional work and customer service. Built in 2007, our new 30,000 sqft facility houses state of the art equipment and our extensively trained technicians that make auto repair easier.

Wow what can I say. This place turned my truck from smashed to better than new. Paint is spot on as is body work. I'm a life long customer from here on out. But I hope to not see you for a long time haha.

Service was extremely professional and polite. I came there with a spoiler that I wanted to match 7 year old orange metallic paint of my car. The part was done in days and it looks fantastic. Very satisfied with them and I will be bringing future projects their way.

Had quite a few problems with this experience. Poor communication, extensive delays, and when I got the car back some of the repairs had not been made and I had to return it again for the work to be finished. When I expressed my dissatisfaction they offered a free detail, which I appreciated, but it was a negative experience overall and I would go elsewhere in the future.

Horrible service, shady, and they do NOT care about your car.
Broke off a piece in my car and did not mention it. Nor did they attempt to replace it.
I had my car towed there on Saturday July 13th and had set up an online appointment or them to look at my car at 8:00 am on Monday July 15th. I then get a text later that Monday at 3:40 telling me my appointment got cancelled
Not only that but I had to call them to find out details on my car.
I called them again on Wednesday because I figured by then, they have had time to look at my car and give me the estimate on it. They told me they still

Great service, super friendly, I immediately walked through the front door and was greeted! I ordered tires, they gave me a great price, they put the tires on, aligned and balanced them. I was so amazed at the customer service though!! This was my first time going here and I'll definitely be back if I need anything fixed!!

They did a great job and most importantly to me they stayed pretty spot on to the estimate price I was quoted. Ended up being slightly less because they ordered a part that ended up not needing used. Some places would have lied and charged for the part anyways. The only problem I had was that I needed a fog light cover for my bumper that was discussed during the estimate and they forgot to order the part. But it’s only like $15 for the part and will pop in easily if I get it myself. Overall great service, stayed true to their price, and did amazing matching the paint on my car and fixing the

0 customer service. After waiting 3 months (where I had already paid half of my estimate) I still had no idea when they were going to be able to fix my car. I called to cancel the repair and get a refund so I could go elsewhere and they all of a sudden had an opening. My car was done in 3 days, however my glove box was rifled through, the books in my door pockets were moved, my bass was turned all the way up and now a speaker is crackling. The repair was good, but I don't appreciate my belongings being gone through and my speakers being blown out. Never again.
