Mick Goleash, founder of MBC Collision Center, has been in the collision repair business since the mid-1960s. In 1981, he opened his first body shop, rapidly gaining a reputation in the Springfield area for being reasonably priced and for getting jobs expertly finished on time. He has the skill and knowledge that come from decades of experience in one industry, and he knows what it means to provide good old-fashioned service to his customers.
At MBC Collision Center, we handle all types of body and paint work for big trucks, trailers, large commercial equipment, RVs, campers, boats, buses, motorhomes, and semis. In addition to repairing vehicles and equipment after accidents, we do custom work, including paint, chrome, day cab conversions, and accessories like LED lights, grilles, and bumpers.
Located in the Springfield area, we service the following communities: Springfield, Bloomington, Peoria, St. Louis, Decatur, Quincy, Champaign, Litchfield, and surrounding areas. This is the third time I’ve had work done by MBC. Each time they’ve been accurate on their estimates and realistic on the repairs (i.e. timeline, what can and can’t be done, suggestions for alternatives, etc.). The staff are friendly and easy to work with, too. I’ll be coming back for custom work but, hopefully, not any repairs if people would stop hitting my truck! Lol

Passing through from out of town, trailer i was pulling had a broken bolt on the leaf spring. Stopped at this shop they drilled out the old bolt, had it fixed and was back on the road twenty minutes later..
This is a good CLEAN and PROFESSIONAL shop. Fast, fair and friendly...

Dealing with Brandon at MBC had me comfortable that my camper was in good hands from minute one. Less than two weeks later I had it back and you’d never know where the damage was. Communication with me was great. Communication between the shop and my insurance company was great. While I hope I never sustain camper body damage again, if I do I’ll rest easy knowing I can take it back to the pros at MBC.

MBC collision replaced the windshield and repaired some body damage to our Motorhome. Most places would require you to bring your Mororhome by their place of business but they came to our home. When they came by I had an estimate back to myself and the insurance company quickly. When the Motorhome was taken in they updated us constantly every step of the way and did a great job on the repairs. It is great to see a business put customers first in every aspect of their business.

Excellent RV service. True professionals, courteous, trustworthy & efficient. They De-Winterized the motorhome. They were the only ones with top ratings on google to squeeze us in the next morning. These guys were great. Knew the moment I walked in and saw their pooch they were going to be great people. Had a self inflicted RV and toad accident on a Sunday afternoon, Monday morning called them with desperation to have then pull out the rear driver side of my rig so I could get access to my power cord and inverter. In sweltering heat, Brandon and one of his workers were able to pull it out and get me back on the road, even thought I knew they were already backed up. Would highly recommend them. Mick did a great job bringing up his boys.
