Wow! I’ve lived in the area for years - why haven’t I tried this place sooner!? Amazing portions, great service, only eclipsed by the flavor. If you enjoy eating at a local place with down home cooking, look no further. I got the #5 on the breakfast menu (pictured plus it came with two pancakes) and my wife ordered the sausage biscuit platter (on special). Our kids got so much to eat with theirs and their drinks were included! I can’t wait to stop in again.

Stopped in for dinner when traveling through because it had good reviews.
Well they've earned it.
The place is not fancy by any means but OMG the food is excellent. I had a German special that I don't even remember the name of but I'll be exploring their menu every time I travel through the area. Give then a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

We went there three times during our 9 day stay in the area. The menu has a little something for everyone but we were there for the German specialties. Turn the Cheese Buttons back if they are overcooked (dry curds inside), it happens, but you have to have the full experience. When done right, which happens most of the time,, they are sooo yummy. Our favorite is the Knoephla soup. We bought to go buckets for the trip home to VA.

Stopped for lunch. Had a great meal. Friendly service. No complaints. We'll try to come here more often when passing through as the service was fast.
My wife raves for their shoop noodles. Not exactly like grandma's, but grandma isn't right off the interstate ready to cook for us.
I got liver and onions, which is an every few years occurrence, and is was great. My son refused to eat his grilled cheese, so I got that also and I'm not sure how they melted the cheese and just lightly toasted the bread. It was perfect.

Just had a delicious lunch here while passing thru on road trip. Conveniently right off the interstate, but great local place. We had an excellent Reuben melt and hot roast beef sandwich with gravy & mashed potatoes. The bread pudding for dessert was wonderful and very large serving plenty for 2 to share.
