A&B Pizza was started in April of 1969 by Alvin Heier and Barb Barth and has since become a family tradition in the Bismarck and Mandan communities. Now in the 3rd generation of family ownership, we are dedicated to keeping the tradition of A&B alive. Our special family recipe gives our sauce a spicy unique flavor that can't be found anywhere else.
We pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients possible. Our dough is made fresh each day. We use only 100% beef from a local butcher shop to make our taco meat which has made our taco pizza one of our most popular pizzas today. Our own, specially-seasoned, fresh pork sausage has made our House Special pizza famous.

Traveling to Medora we stopped here after 2 facebook friends recommended it. I chose Taco Pizza as it was on special today. It is so simple but really good: Refried Beans, Taco Beef Hamburger, cheese and lettuce on top. Served with Taco sauce. No black olives or sour cream to complicate things. I brought some back to place I'm staying and lettuce wilted a little but still good after being microwaved. Spouse had Canadian bacon and mushroom, he said sauce was skimpy. Good Service and needs updating inside, mainly get rid of carpet.

This was great pizza! When visiting new cities I like to eat as local as possible. So when our evening ran late, pizza was the only option. And we were not disappointed with the local spot. It was delivered quick, and the delivery guy was friendly and chatted with us about the local chain. Highly recommended!

Talk about being spoiled....
Having a place like this in my home town my whole life. There are many awesome pizza places in Man-Bis. A&B is The Godfather. Get their taco. Eat in. Get some fleischkuekle (sic). Get something from there, it's so fracking good. Ooooooo so so so many memories. A&B, I thank you from the depths of my heart. You're food and service and venues have helped me to know what enjoying food means. Thanks again, keep up the good work!

The pizza deal of the day seemed like a good deal.
The poor cashiers couldn't figure out how to half the meat to only one side of the pizza. You could order it crispy or with more cheese but not the special minus a little meat. Croutons don't come with the salads, nor do cukes, tomatoes, or peppers. Just shredded iceberg with cheese. The pizza crust is thin and not oily or greasy. But our pizza was the plainest and most lifeless pizza.
We only came here because Bruno's was closed. Will know better next time!

I grew up on A and B, so I'm really biased. When I was in grade school, my dad would pick me up at Custer and take me to Taco pizza Mondays. I loved playing pinball and playing music on the jukebox. They updated the decor a few years ago, but it is still filled with many great memories for me.
My go-to is the taco pizza. I love the combination of toppings, especially the juicy meat. I'm really weird because I add parmesan and ketchup to my pizza, but you don't have to copy me. Just add some taco sauce and you'll be good.

After years of loyalty to A & B Pizza and giving them rave reviews, that day is over.
Tonight I called in for a pizza to carry out. "nick" quoted me a price of $13.55.
When I picked it up, the price was now $16.51. Why?
It was the pizza of the day and my ordering the extra cheese took the price beyond the usual pricing strategy. The parlor penalizes the unsuspecting patron extra for any additional item, far beyond the usual and customary price. Why one has a strategy like that is beyond me. This place has the best Taco Pizza! Sour Krout isn't bad either! We usually order take out or deliver but the last time I was in Mandan we went in to eat. Beer was cold, Pizza was very good, and the staff was friendly. It looks like they newly renovated the interior but the booths still seem kind of old and run down. Oh well the great tasting pizza makes up for it! 4 stars :)
