Really yummy authentic Vietnamese hue food. Tried a little bit of everything. Going back for a few things they ran out of. So good, it sells out fast!

Their spring roll is so fresh. They roll it so tight and flavor is consistent everytime. They serve it with peanut hoisin sauce; it's good but theirs is on the sweeter note.

The party tray is great. Spring roll is 30 pcs min. $2 each or 50 pcs for $1.70 ea. They also have egg roll and other viet dishes listed on the menu. Transparency for you!

Everybody raves about their bun bo hue. We haven't tried it but maybe next time since it's so popular.

They speak both english and viet. If you call in english, they will transfer you to a person who speaks, so just wait a few seconds in

I was supposed to get cha with my order. I see it in all the pictures of banh beo. When we arrived, they blatantly lied and said they never put cha with banh beo. Food was average. Nothing exceptionally spectacular. I heard their bun bo hue was good but I was too upset to try it.

Heard this place recommended on the Dave Chang podcast for their spring rolls.
Stopped in for lunch and very impressed with the portion size and price, but most important the taste and friendly service.
Grilled pork skewers, Bun Bo Hue and pork/shrimp spring rolls.

For Hue food, I'm into it.

We ordered a bunch of food for three and left pretty satisfied.

Banh La (9.50) - 7 pieces and very basic. Fresh and enjoyable!

Nem Lui (12.95) - a must get. I was surprised that it didn't come with water, but fish sauce was a sufficient amount of moisture to soften the rice paper. I also like that the rice paper was smaller so you can make smaller rolls.

Banh Beo (8.50) - Oddly, they put the chichiron on the side. Should have been mixed in. Solid, but eat first because they are no good cold and aren't wrapped to maintain the warmth from the

Got food here for take out. They deserve 5 stars!! Clean resto, very polite employees and good food for its price!! The serving portion is way better than some restaurants we have tried before. We had special requests and they accommodated it.

Been eyeing this place for awhile but, I am very particular with my Bun Bo Hue. It has to be flavorful, have tender meat and fresh pork blood. Can't say 5 Stars Hue is the best for Bun Bo Hue but, the broth is good! Meat slices could have been more tender. Not a fan of their meatballs. It had a tad to much peppercorn.

Their Banh Canh Cua was pretty bad. Soup was okay.. on the thicker side. The noodles are not the normal banh canh I am used to. It is a more gooey texture which is kind of off putting vs the normal bouncy texture. The meatballs in it tasted okay but, not the greatest. Don&apos

I have come here for a takeout order for banh beo on a couple occasions for work potlucks. I usually get the tray and everytime it's been really good! They serve it with the fish sauce on the side too, which is plenty! And don't forget the fried pork skin too. The price is pretty fair too. Though I have definitely had better banh beo in orange county, this is pretty good for the area! I am impressed with the service and will come back for more, might try some other stuff on their menu!

Decent place to get a bowl of good Banh Bo Hue. Having been to their Alhambra branch, we know that this place can satisfy our craving for central Vietnam food here.

Hue foods are particularly popular in Vietnam as they were palace food for the king. We probably know Hue from many Vietnam war movies and TV shows where they were many battle scenes took place in Hue.

With such a rich history, the city claims several distinctive dishes -- from small and delicate creations originally created to please the appetites of Nguyen feudal lords, emperors (and their hundreds of wives) -- to lusty, fiery

Checking out Five Stars Hue new location in Alhambra and was disappointed. My bun bo hue did not come sprawling with green onions. The pho came with flat noodles instead of real pho noodles. AND they had no iced coffee at 10:30am on a weekend. ???????????? One star for food and accommodations.
The service was attentive as the waiter asked a few times if everything was ok.
I've had better bun bo hue at Nha Trang. Will not be coming back.

The foods are good but not quite 5 Stars yet. The featured Banh Bo Hue tasted similar to the noodles from the the Hue and Danang areas. The menu is also filled with dishes from the central region of Vietnam.
We came to the Alhambra branch to try out their foods after we read fromYelp about the new and hot restaurants in San Gabriel area.
Upon the recommendations from the waiter, we decided to order a Banh Beo, the popular Bun Bo Hue without the blood cake, and the Bun Vermicelli salad.
The Banh Beo was very good. The flavor the texture of the rice cake matches very closely with the food from

I was really craving Bun Bo Hue, and found myself ordering from here when Nha Trang stopped taking orders. This place is pretty solid and I liked that you could make an order through Postmates ahead of time for pick up, which was super convenient.

For a family of four, we ordered the Bun Bo Hue/5 Star Hue Lemongrass Noodle Soup ($10.50), Bun Rieu/Crab Meat Vermicelli Noodle Soup ($9.50), and Fillet Pho ($10.50). First impression, I loved how they neatly packaged everything with the soup in a container, noodles in box, and topping fix-ins in bag. It's also plenty of food, so you end up with

Living in SGV and have no clue where to get a decent bowl of bun bo hue?

Look no further! Honestly, I have tried them a few times during COVID and its pretty darn good. Now, I can get my bun bo hue fix without having to driving all the way to OC! I am very surprised at how delicious the broth is and how is packed with meat. I have also ordered pho for my kids and the broth is actually full of flavor! I was super duper surprised!

They don't do small size and only large and I usually have leftovers but I don't mind eating it again the following day.

Prices are pretty reasonable. I

Woah... the flavor of the bun bo hue... it's not watered down. You can actually taste the flavor. The flavor was on point! There is a small patio for you to eat so try it and enjoy. I don't eat the pork blood or pork feet, I have them remove it. I can't do it. Try it out tho you won't be disappointed.

This is your perfect traditional Vietnamese food spot! It's hard to come across these types of viet joints nowadays as opposed to its more common counterpart of pho shops.

Everything from the nem lui to the bun bo hue is super flavorful and heartwarming! I was just slightly disappointed that they were out of several of my favorites such as the banh xeo.

Unfortunately not a 5 stars from me, but close!

Parking is SUPER fisted here. So be careful if you drive a larger car.

From start to end, customer service was SUPERB. We were welcomed, constantly checked on, had our table cleared, and I liked how they left a copy of our order on the table and crossed things out as we received them. Very good way of keeping track of everything.

My parents both got the bun bo hue and it comes with a LOT of meat and toppings. They taste pretty good and not too chewy, dry etc.

However, the 2 main issues were the fact that:
1) The spice level was inconsistent

The Food: I tried the steamed rice cake with shredded shrimp on top. 10 small plates of rice cake, perfect to share appetizer.

The Parking: Plaza parking. Might get crowded because several restaurants in the same plaza.

My experience here was largely unremarkable (except for the conspicuous absence of pork chops on their menu). The food is decent, and the service is typical for this genre of eatery. I would like to also note that the customer seating was very comfortable, and the bathroom was kept extremely clean. Parking availability is not bad at this location.

Although my experience here was positive here overall, I'm going to be blunt - if you're looking for the best possible meal at this strip mall, I would strongly advise that you go to next door to Tasty Dumpling Kitchen instead - they are definitely
