Ken received a B.S. in Hotel Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a top hospitality university in the nation. In addition, Ken graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, continuing his education in the Food and Beverage field. As owner of Tristar Hotel Group, Ken spends the majority of his time building, operating and developing hotels throughout the country.

Great management company! I have been staying long term in one of their properties, Pima Inn & Suites in Scottsdale. During my long term stay, Tristar was very responsive and their representative I have contacted when I needed was prompt and personable. I prefer properties that I can establish a nice communication channel for my longer stays and Tristar delivered with their service at Pima Inn & Suites.

Tristar Hotel Group manages a few hotels in Bloomington, Indiana. We have stayed in the Comfort Inn there a number of times while visiting our son who attends school at IU.
We paid one year in advance for 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights for graduation weekend. The normal price of a room is under $90 but we paid $389 per room and night. We were required to pay by check.
When Covid struck and everything was cancelled, we were assured vis email that our money would be returned. Tristar Hotel Group
applied and received a government loan. They said in writing that the loan money would be used to make

Tristar Hotel Group (Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Inn)in Bloomington Indiana required Indiana University parents who wanted to book for 2020 graduation weekend to book one year in advance and to pay with check or cashier’s check. I was shocked I wasn’t able to use my IHG credit card for my reservation at the Holiday Inn Express. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic graduation was cancelled. Parents were told that once these hotels received their PPE loans from the government stimulus they would issue refunds. Tristar has offered credit vouchers that can ONLY be used in Bloomington rather

Can’t get anybody on the phone or get them to return my phone calls. I’ve left multiple messages and sent emails. Not sure how you run a business where nobody answers the phones, returns calls or answers emails?? Also don’t give them any money. Wouldn’t take credit card for hotel reservation for a graduation , had to send a check . Now with no graduation due to COVID they won’t give us a refund.
