As a Salem native, Jackson’s has been a staple in downtown as long as I can remember. It is one, if not the only thing that has not changed over the years.
I recently retired and turned 65. I had a gold band I had made many years ago out of the gold from my mother’s original wedding ring and my original engagement ring.
I had always wanted to have diamonds added, so we decided that the special occasion called for a special gift.
Cynthia was very helpful and very knowledgeable. And the ring turned out perfect! Just what I have wanted for years! Thank you Jackson’s!!!

After 32 years, my wedding ring(purchased from Jackson’s Jewelers) needed some attention. With Cynthia’s help my ring has been updated while still being my ring. When I put my ‘new’ ring on, it still feels like my ring. I could not be happier!!!

Had a great experience working with Brett Jackson to redesign my wife's wedding ring. He is very experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled at his craft, and very personable and easy to talk with. He patiently helped us think through all our questions and concerns. We never felt any pressure from him at all and he encouraged us to take our time to make sure we would be happy with the outcome. And we are indeed very happy with the new ring, it is absolutely beautiful and fits my wife's tiny finger perfectly!

My wedding ring unfortunately split all the way through the band after an accident. I took it to Jackson’s and Tyler said they could absolutely repair it. I picked it up today and it looks brand new! You would never know anything ever happened to it. Highly recommend Jackson Jewelers!

The people who run Jackson Jewelers are fine people. I always feel they’re very honest and will help you to find what you’re looking for. I have had a number of rings fixed there and I’ve had build ups on the lower part of my rings and diamonds moved from one ring to another Donna

I hate leaving negative reviews but these people never answer their phone and when they make promises to follow up and they never do, been trying to buy a watch from them for weeks and they keep giving me the runaround , I'm really pissed they wasted so much of my time.

Such a terrible company. Awful customer service. After scheduling an appointment and driving an hour to go buy some jewelry was made to sit outside for over an hour and was never helped. Ended up leaving without jewelry, and very frustrated. Will never be going back here again. They lost a someone who would have spent a lot of money and been a loyal customer.

Never answer there phone. Poor customer service and when they do, they're always rushing you. Very disrespectful.. Highly do not recommend. Overrated..

My experience there was so incredible. My son and I were window shopping one day and decided to walk into your store. The Grandson of the Mr. Jackson greeted us and was so friendly. I knew we couldn’t afford anything in the store but he didn’t treat us like that. He showed us where the vintage collection was and told us some history about the… pieces. We looked at the beautiful jewelry all over the store. I never got to thank him but he made us feel very special that day even when we didn’t buy anything. One day when I can afford a piece there-because of how I was treated

First issue was with watch repair. They supposedly have an in-house watch repair person, so I asked for an estimate to realign hands on a watch (minute hand wasn't on 12 when hour hand was on a marker). I was told that the repair person was not at the store at that time, but they would get back to me with an answer in the next few days. They never did, and so I called back. Holy cow, the run around I received rather than a simple dollar estimate. I know it's expensive, but they refused to give me a straightforward answer. Finally, I was told that "they didn't cause the problem

DON'T TRUST JACKSON'S JEWELERS. THEY ARE DISHONEST!
I bought a special aquamarine from John Dyer. He is a speciality stone cutter and has many amazingly beautiful gem stones. His work is spectacular and one of a kind. I had been looking for a jeweler who could set my stone into a pendant so I went to Jackson's Jewelers. Jackson's sent it to their designers. After two weeks, I called to find out where we were in the process. I was told that these things take a while and to be patience. I got a call after another couple of weeks. They informed me that they had sent my stone

As a native New Yorker and Texas resident, I've shopped in more than a few national-class jewelry stores. Jackson Jewelers is a gem right here in Salem. They are long-established and centrally located with a very pleasant interior. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The carefully selected collection of jewelry and watches spans a variety of tastes and budgets. First-class in every way!

I took wedding ring, which was purchased in California, here to have a tiny stone reset which I brought in with the ring. My experience was terrible. When I dropped off my ring, they didn't want to do the work because the ring hadn't been purchased through them, but when I told them it was from CA and I wouldn't be going back there and I'd either have them or another local place do the work they changed their mind. very friendly staff but they should be when they're taking a lot of money out of your pocket.

My fiance just had my custom engagement ring created and made at Jackson's Jewelers. It is beautiful & we get so many compliments on it. Brett was awesome to work with. He even met my fiance in Portland to show him some options for the center stone, which was a hard stone to find (not common). Brett went out of his way to ensure that our ring stayed within budget and was completed by the time my fiance wanted to propose. We would definitely use them again. He has been so accommodating and friendly, even offering to meet us when the store is closed. Every jeweler I have dealt with in the store has been so helpful and nice. This is where Ryan, my hubby, bought my wedding ring set in Nov. 2007 and I have gotten nonstop compliments about the quality & uniqueness of the ring. They worked really well with us to incorporate heirloom diamonds (from my Grandma's & his Grandma's engagement rings) into the design. From purchase onward, they have had really great customer care and continued to keep me happy with the ring with cleaning & sizing it as appropriate.
