Heather was born and raised in Massachusetts and moved to Gainesville in 1995. She is highly experienced in all aspects of orthodontics and can answer any treatment or financial question you may have. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Lindsey was born and raised in Gainesville.
At Pavlik Orthodontics our trained staff specializes in the treatment and correction of the following common orthodontic issues. Class II problems are defined as abnormal bite relationships in which the upper jaw and teeth project ahead of the lower jaw producing what is called "overjet."
So you just got braces? Congratulations! You're on your way to straighter teeth, a healthier mouth and the spectacular smile you've always dreamed of. At Pavlik Orthodontics we know that patients who have just gotten braces put on often have a lot of questions about what effect it will have on their day to day lives.
It's important to regularly check your braces for bent or loose wires and brackets. In the event of a loose or broken wire or bracket, or extreme discomfort arising from wire irritation, please follow the directions below. If you break or loosen any of your appliances, call the Pavlik Orthodontics office as soon as possible at (352) 376-5055 so we can schedule an appropriate appointment for you.
Why should I wear braces? A. There are many reasons. Braces straighten your teeth and improve self esteem. Correcting improper alignment of teeth can help eliminate gum disease and early tooth loss. When should I visit the orthodontist? A. Children should see an orthodontist usually between the ages of 7-10.

My permanent retainer broke on our side and they were able to get me in right away to replace it. My regular orthodontist is in Atlanta and other orthodontists in this area turned me away because they weren't the ones who put it in, but this doctor was great! The fixed it perfectly and didn't charge me an arm and a leg :)
The office was also super professional and clean. I was impressed.

I had an emergency and my bottom wire retainer fell out as I flossed. I called them the next morning and they worked me into their schedule even on their short day which was a friday!!! They got me in at 10am. Took the cement off my teeth. Cleaned them amazingly and had my mold and brand new retainer all within an hour! My tech was absolutely the sweetest and Dr. Pavlik was so friendly and welcoming!!!! I adore this place and at any point in time will see him and his staff for my orthodontic needs!

We have appreciated the professional, courteous and personal service my son and I have received from Dr. Pavlik and his team. Before my son goes for cleanings with his dentist, they remove his wires then replace them the next morning. After only 6 months, we saw an amazing change in the alignment of his teeth. My son actually enjoys going. Highly recommended!!
