Dr. Amir Akhavan received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine in 2009 with honors. He then moved from the warm weather of the Golden State to the beautiful Sunshine State to attend Nova Southeastern University College of dental medicine. He received his doctorate degree with honors in 2014 and was inducted in the prestigious Omega Kappa Upsilon (OKU) honor society.

Dr. Amir Akhavan, Dr. Janet Pappas and Dr. Patricia Tapley will conduct a thorough clinical orthodontic examination and explain all aspects of treatment herself after you meet with the New Patient Coordinator and take digital x-ray and photos. If orthodontic treatment is indicated at this time, the New Patient Coordinator will review with you your treatment plan, fee, and payment options.

Dr. Akhavan and the whole staff are amazing! Due to the nature of my career, I’m always traveling & the staff alway make accommodations for me which I’m super grateful for. I recommended my husband to come here and now he’s getting treatment here. My daughter wants to (and will) come here once it’s time for her to get braces. The game room is a plus :).

I chose this place because of the reviews and I’m glad I did. I only saw Dr A. (Not sure the other 2 still own the biz). I might have been the oldest patient at 53, until I referred my wife! EVERYONE is amazing, professional, gentle and sincerely nice. Everyone is busy and move around the office like a well oiled machine. They work around my schedule as much as possible and communication is A+. The office is clean, inviting and the environment feels comfy. For future employees; they are patient with training the newer ones and help one another without pause. No matter what age you are, I recommend

Such a kind and professional team. Wila and Dr. Akhavan were so kind and skilled with our 7 year old son, explaining our plan of care thoroughly and answering all our questions. Eve was very nice scheduling and getting us started as well. I can't say enough how grateful we are- this is an excellent practice!

I had a great experience here. I had braces as a child but my permanent retainer came off and I did not wear my retainer as much as I should. This caused one of my bottom teeth to be crooked. As a 20/21 year old, I didn't want braces but I wanted this fixed. Invisalign and this office were perfect. It was supposed to take me around 20 weeks but ended up taking around 35. After my first 20, they offered to order me 4 more aligners (at no additional price) which takes 4 weeks to get in. When the aligners showed up there were 11. That is the only problem I had. Other than that, everyone who works

I started my Invisalign journey here years ago. The experience here has been completely professional and fun! Despite the changes of new ownership, this place is still the same if not better. The staff works as a team and are very down to earth. SARAH ❤️ is always the best of the best!!! She really knows her stuff & puts your smile first. Check in and out (as well as scheduling at the desk) is also a breeze. Highly recommend many visits here! Your smile is their priority 😬

Dr. Akhavan and the rest of the Pappas and Tapley team were amazing! My dog ate my retainer last night and I was in a frenzy to get a new one. Eve was incredible and was able to squeeze me in for a same-day, last-minute appointment. She was very detail-oriented and extremely friendly. There was no wait time; I was assisted as soon as I arrived! The procedure was quick and painless. They used a probe to gently scan my mouth in order to 3D print a brand new retainer for me, which will be ready in 1-2 business days.... absolutely incredible! 10 years ago it would’ve taken at least 2 weeks to get
