For all of us who work in whatever capacity, there comes a time when retirement from this endeavor seems appropriate. This decision is usually based on age or a desire to pursue other activities which require more time than has previously been available. During this past year as a reached my 75th birthday, I have given this major decision in my life a great deal of attention.
Progressive Orthodontic Associates opened its doors in 1975, when Dr. Jacobson first began practicing in Gainesville. Orthodontic treatment in Gainesville hasn't been the same ever since.

I recently finished invisalign treatment and the results are great. The whole team was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. After my first round of treatment, Dr. Martin saw a couple of changes that could be made and ordered another set of retainers to make the final result exactly what I wanted.

This is one of the most welcoming and caring places I’ve ever been to. I started my journey with them as a young kid and have went through many obstacles due to my jaw and finding out I was allergic to braces at one point. They have always been incredibly caring and willing to help with anything they can throughout any treatments I have decided to take on. This review is long overdue. I can't say enough great things about this office! The staff is always friendly and welcoming right when we walk in. Both of our kids have been treated here and have had some serious orthodontic needs! Our son had his canine's impacted in the roof his mouth and required oral surgery to expose the teeth. Traumatic for us as parents is an understatement, but Dr. Martin & team eased us through the whole process (along with Dr. Ratliff at Taylor & Ratliff). Dr. Martin was able to move those teeth to where they needed to be and you would never know they were once in the roof his mouth. He now has a

Everyone in the office worked above and beyond to help my kids feel comfortable with their decision to get braces and aligners. Meredith and Dr. Martin were amazing. Dr Dawn goes above and beyond! She provided emergency services for our then 3-yr-old son (on the weekend no less!) years before we became orthodontics patients.
