Dr. Price is a Wisconsin native that moved to beautiful North Carolina in 2013. She started her career in veterinary medicine working in emergency medicine and then moved to working as a mixed animal practitioner. She met Kathryn Combs in 2017 and started working with Lewis Veterinary Clinic in 2018.

Adult female heart-worms living in infected dogs, cats, fox or even coyotes produce microfilaria. When the mosquito take a blood meal from an infected animals it pick up baby heart-worms or microfilaria.

Was great when Katherine Combs ran it . Been going there for years and the last three times I called they tell me they can't see my dog take her to Stokesdale Vet. My dog was severely sick and died that day . If you love your dog find a reliable vet. They had the nerve to send me a card after he died . Would not recommend them to anyone .

My big dog has required sedation for everything from routine check ups to vaccines since he was a puppy......until we took him to Lewis Veterinary Clinic. On his first visit with Dr. Price he sat still for the exam, vaccination and blood draw! We were amazed. The staff has been great and we can't say enough good things about Dr. Price. Sadly, we recently had to have one of our cats euthanized due to an infection which wasn't responding to treatment. Dr Price explained what was happening in language we could understand and went over possible options without pushing for expensive procedures to help
