Catering events at Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Reno, and the surrounding area is what we do, from large wedding receptions, small dinner parties and everything in between. As You Wish Catering is a licensed and insured member of the North Lake Tahoe Wedding and Honeymoon Association. We can refer you to talented, Lake Tahoe Catering event professionals including photographers, florists, DJ's, wedding cake designers, and event coordinators.

Mike is great and so easy to work with. We were so happy with the food at our wedding. We wanted to do a taco bar, and he and his team did an excellent job producing something that was fun and also delicious. We got so many compliments on the food. Mike and his team were amazing from our pre-COVID wedding plan start to finish (finally holding our large Tahoe wedding in 2021)! He had catered my sister's wedding 9 years prior, and he knocked it out of the park with our wedding for 160 people as well. Our guests continue to rave about the food served a few weeks ago. Mike is a total pro and brings solutions to any issue that may pop up. We absolutely loved working with him and his team!

I can't rave enough about Mike Farrier and his team. From meeting us at the wedding venue for the first time to serving the most delicious dinner to 100 plus guests, this catering service is top notch! Mike's communication was impeccable from beginning to end and he supplied everything we needed and wanted...from farm tables to extra lights to port-a-potties. He supplied the bartenders and servers who did a wonderful job. After having trouble finding a restaurant that would be able to accommodate our rehearsal dinner during peak season, we instead decided to look towards catering options. We used As You Wish Catering for our post wedding brunch in South Lake Tahoe. We supplied the food we just needed a chef to come cook for house guests as they got up. Chef Jamie was awesome! His food was delicious and he was a multi tasking master- taking orders, cooking and cleaning as he went. We had a few surprise guests and it didn't throw him off at all. Mike and his staff were the MVP's of my wedding. He took care of all the food, ordered all of our rentals, including a tent, portapotty, tables/chairs/linens, and a dance floor, and was very communicative the whole time. Mike and his staff catered my wedding last week and did an amazing job. We received many compliments on the food and we were very pleased with the staff and presentation. I spoke to Mike a lot leading up to my wedding and he was great in guiding me and making sure that I ordered all of the correct rentals. As you wish catering did our wedding this week. Every part of our experience was perfect. The service was perfect and was way more than I could have imagined. These guys really know what they are doing. It is amazing how well they put everything together, truly talented! Everyone kept telling me how nice they were and how good the food was. The meal was gluten free and dairy free and no one could tell, it was wonderful. One of the best meals I have had. We started our catering search through the wedding venue preferred vendor list. We chose to get married at the Hellman - Ehrman Mansion which has a lot of restrictions. Mike and his team did the catering for our 6/3 wedding and did a fabulous job! I was already in hair/makeup when he arrived, but with a few quick questions to my friends, he was able to set up and prepare the bar and food seamlessly. I think I maybe saw maybe Mike twice, once for a quick introduction and once when he started the service and that in my opinion is a sign of a true professional who is able to run the catering with little to no direction to rave reviews. Mike is amazing!! Out of all my vendors, Mike was definitely my fav! He made me feel so worry free about the food and all the rentals. Its so nice having such piece of mind about the food, bar, chairs, linen, lights, etc.
My venue, Ehrman Mansion, has very strict rules because it is a CA State Park. Hire As you Wish for any venue, but ESPECIALLY if you are getting married at Ehrman Mansion. He knows the drill and the event coordinator and will make your life SO much easier.

We just used As You Wish, Mike and his staff this past weekend for our wedding events in Tahoe...a dinner bbq at the beach and a Sunday brunch as our goodbye event. It was awesome! The food was fantastic and had a high end feel. It wasn't some mass produced product that we feared due to our numbers. Dave was the person on site for both events and he was great to work with...on top of things, timely, accommodating, etc. Our guests had a fantastic experience and As You Wish took a lot of responsibilities off our "plate". Without hesitation I would recommend them to anyone looking

Hands down, the best catering company in Northern NV & CA. I have deldt with several catering companies in Lake Tahoe and Reno for corporate events and As you wish Catering is by far the best!
Not only is it fresh and delicious but they have a unique way of making it amazing, I asked the lead chef how he does it - and he smiled at me.
Basically telling me to go figure it our for myself.

Michael and his staff were seriously the best! Not only was the food AMAZING, he put up with all our changes and requests and being a pain in the butt like a champ! Anything we needed to add or change he was more than happy to oblige. I seriously couldn't have imagined a better caterer for our wedding and would recommend them to anyone!!!

Mike and his team are excellent at what they do! We hired As You Wish to cater our wedding at the Gatekeeper's Museum in Tahoe City on 6/28/2014. Everything went perfect!
