Shoshana At Cartel-Therapeutic & Anti-Aging Skin Care

I have been going to Dania at Cartel for a few years. She is INCREDIBLE for curly hair. I have soft banana like curls and it is always difficult to find someone to cut the hair correctly. She is treats curly hair with care, doesn't chop, but cuts everything so delicately and I ALWAYS leave extremely satisfied. She can layer, volumize, and texturize my hair so well. I am moving out of the state and am so sad to have my last cut with her. She is also really nice, friendly, and LISTENS to what you want your hair to look like. I always tell her that I want my hair to be like a "heart"

I went here a few months ago to get a tint, with haircut and curtain bangs. Cynthia charged me $360. I was flabbergasted. Make a king story short, after the fact I found out her reason was because I was, apparently, a color correct. I worked at a salon for years and I know what's a color correct and that was not it. One all over tiny, same formula did the trick. No toner, no double step process, color remover needed. The hair cut itself was decent, hence the 2 stars. But, when she cut my curtain bangs she cut them straight and did not over-direct the hair. I looked dopey walking out with bangs

Soooo....false advertising. They absolutely DO NOT REQUIRE MASKS. Big sign on the door and states they require it on their website. OWNER NOT ENFORCING AND DOES NOT CARE! The receptionist was wearing just a face shield and the OWNER mockingly held a surgical mask in front of his face. Brought my 91 year old mom in law. Love the hairdresser. Can never recommend this salon again.

I came to the Cartel many years ago right after Shoshonna moved there and had a great experience for another service.
Since I began coloring and cutting my hair, I've always expected to pay way too much and subsequently have been going to Paul Mitchell the school for my haircuts and colors since College.
That generally works out if I have six hours to spare. But these days I don't.

I needed a touch up on my roots. I have a nice very light blond for my front bangs and some in the front. Thought hey...I'll just find a salon near me since my other hair stylist is super booked. I'll chose a place that has great reviews and a lot of stars so I found this place. What can go wrong right? Smh.... First I came in and got greeted and then I waited till a lady came and introduced herself (I forgot her name!!) And brought me to her station. Didn't have a welcoming feeling with her. Should of saw that as my first red flag. Then she was asking me what I wanted to do with

I loved it my hair came out amazing. I did make an appt and it was not a long wait. The place is very nice and clean and good workings first time going to a salon to get my hair done so very nice. The price was high but I do understand I have long hair and a lot of it so I understand but it was $300 but I overall loved my results.

Trying to get things back to normal. I went to Cartel Salon and had my hair professionally cut and colored and what a difference it made! I felt better about myself and my overall outlook on life improved.
So if your looking for a safe place to get your normal back this is the salon for you : )

Check out her Instagram page for the amazing artwork she does. Besides her quality and cleanliness - she is an absolute sweetheart. You have to book way in advance and keep those appointments booked in advance because she gets booked fast but she is worth it! Give her a try and you will not be disappointed!

I agree with Sarah G. with the COVID safety this salon has compared to others, with the masks and the distance kept between the stations.
I went with Perla N. and my experience with her went above and beyond my expectations. Usually for my cuts its quick and basic nothing special, but Perla delivered a totally different experience . She got my hair, which by the way looked like, Anne Hathaway's hair from Princess Diaries before her transformation (yes it was that bad, don't judge me xD) to looking like Sofia Vergara's hair when she gets ready to walk the carpet for a movie premier

I got my hair done by Cynthia and I genuinely have never been more happy with a hair coloring in my entire life. J got peekaboo red strips done in my hair and had the rest dyed black and she put so much care into my hair. She truly made the red even more vibrant than I thought it was going to be and she gave me exactly what I wanted, if anything it looks better than I expected. Definitely coming back and I recommend everybody to specifically ask for Cynthia! (especially if you're dealing with bleach)

Called a few weeks ago to get some information about gift certificates and was met with a rude conversation with Janice. If she doesn't want to answer customer questions, don't answer the phone!

I would never consider to give gift certificates away to friends or family from a place that hires rude employees. If you're an outsider, do not even step foot in this place bc newcomers are not welcomed.

This review is for VIDALIA!!! She's been doing my hair for about a year now and makes the blonde perfect everytime. She is beyond talented, and is a pro at extensions! I had extensions before but the way Vidalia installs them, my hair is still in perfect condition. I always love my hair thanks to Vidalia!

She took my naturally dark boring brown hair to platinum blonde, dirty blonde, Auburn, red, and now fire ombré fantasy hair. she is just incredible at what she does and coming here is a genuine treat. She cares about me genuinely and I look forward to my sessions.
