I went to the University of Arizona and spent the next fifteen years in management at all levels. All throughout that career, I spent much of my time developing my employees and being their counselor when they sought help. I learned that counseling was my passion and that helping others reach their full potential was much more rewarding than management.
During that time I met my wife and went back to school at Western Washington University for two years to get a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and then to Northwest University where I received by Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology. I worked in community mental health as a therapist, specializing in trauma therapy, especially EMDR.
