This was my first time having sushi, and wow I can't believe what I've been missing out! We tried loads of different rolls and sashimi, my favorite is the spicy salmon roll ( basic, I know ). Friendly and attentive staff plus a very cosy dining room upstairs made this an excellent introduction to sushi for me!

When I was younger, I used to eat at a restaurant named Zen with my tennis coach and friends often. Was walking through town and found this restaurant of the same name, so I had to try it. Went here for lunch and I really enjoyed their lunch special, which is really filling. I think that the quality of the food could be a bit better, but for the price, it is really hard to beat.

Be careful! They spend little cost on seafood and sell it overpriced. The ika Hokkaiyaki is a fraud. They add fake crab stick and mushroom inside and squid is very little. It’s almost the same as the other dish (baked scallop maki) we ordered, because the latter is also with little scallops. It tastes like they are too lazy to prepare things specifically and neither delicate nor authentic at all. I feel cheated and will never come back.

I hate to do this but at the very least do not get the sushi boat. I will say the salmon was not bad but everything else was questionable. We genuinely did not finish eating even half of it before we knew we would get sick. The only good thing I recall was the miso soup. Based on other reviews we thought we would give this place a shot but it is by no means 4 stars under any circumstances.

Genuine Japanese style sushi restaurant. Ordered hotate, unagi Maki, and fried oysters for takeout and I was pleasantly surprised to see food of great quality. They aren't fancy but cooked with fresh and quality ingredients. Overall sushi was okay and I really enjoyed their fries oysters and hotate was weirdly addictive - creamy and spicy blend of sauce with scallops and crab meat. Definitely recommend checking this place out

The restaurant is not catchy at all, if you are not actively looking for it, you might miss it.
The food is of reasonable quality. The menu shows what is raw and what is not.
The restaurant has two floors, both floors are quite small.
Don’t miss the specialties posted on the walls.
The tempura are nice, hot and crispy.
