We use state-of-the-art dental equipment, just like human dentists use! Oral care isn't just about bad doggie or kitty breath. Dental disease can be difficult for owners to recognize. Periodontal disease can cause heart, kidney, and liver complications as well as chronic infection, pain, tooth loss, and even weight loss.
When you are looking for veterinary care in the Birch Bay/Blaine area, you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Northwest Veterinary Clinic have assembled an excellent medical team to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Northwest Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
If your pet is coming to us for a sedated/anesthetic procedure, there's just a couple things to remember. First, make sure you don't give breakfast or any other food after 10pm the night before surgery. Water is always allowed, however. The second thing is it's important to have your pet here between 8:30 and 9:00 am.

Got recommendations to come here and see Dr. Johnner and his staff so I did, and I'm so grateful and thankful! They were so wonderful! Very friendly and knowledgeable, definitely experts! And it means a lot to me how caring they are and they listen to what u have to say without interrupting or jumping to conclusions before ur done explaining ur situation. Absolutely love them and I would highly recommend taking ur fur babies there!

First off, I’m 74 years old and have had dogs my entire life, worked both Narcotics and Attack dogs during my 40 year Law Enforcement career.
Dr. Johner is by far the best Veterinarian I have ever dealt with in a professional manner or as a private citizen. His staff is extremely professional and always courteous.
Dr. Johner has always taken the time to answer questions if we had any concerns, he is very compassionate and gives the excellent care and advice. Our Labrador male Tanner is almost 13 years old and because of Dr. Johner’s care, he is in excellent shape.

My chihuahua was very sick and nobody would see her not even our vet of many years booked 2 weeks out. I called northwest veterinary clinic and they got her right in no questions asked the very next day. I love them they are a blessing. Cost effective and understanding. They're helpful and caring. It's not about money but about your pet. I love them so much. And I was shocked they charged me 1/3 what my normal vet would've and they diagnosed her right. I take all my pets there now. They saved my babies life.

I have been going here since 2001. It is a wonderful , trustworthy clinic to visit with your pets. I have pets with chronic health issues, and we visit often. They always manage to fit me in quickly, often same day. Love the whole staff, as they are always attentive and caring. Even during these crazy COVID times, they have created and executed a system that works to keep everyone safe. Keep up the great work!! :)

I called at least 8 different Vets because my cat injured his leg. They told me bring him on in, we'll squeeze him in in between appointments. im so grateful they did! He needed surgery! If I could give them… 10 🌟 I would! Thank you Northwest Veterinary you guys were so kind and awesome. Thank you for taking such good care of Spike! We APPRECIATE you guys.

I sent my daughter to bring my cat into the client with a bad tooth. The vet wanted to keep her over night and biopsy her gums when she clearly had an abscessed tooth. This vet was trying to run up my bill, and take advantage of my kid's lack of knowledge. Then when i said, no to the biopsy, he tried to send her home with no antibiotics!!! Omg!!!… I was mad, but I felt like I kept my cool. Considering he wasn't going to help my cats tooth. I demanded antibiotics, and he gave her a skin antibiotic shot and the most expensive pain kills there is. Which we didn't need. This client clearly does

I absolutely had the greatest experience yesterday when I took my Sophie Ann to be looked at. The doctor and all of the staff were very kind and compassionate, they really have a heart for animals! The appointment wasn't rushed and The doctor explained everything to me. This will now be where my girls go from now on
